Would not touch them again with a ten foor pole. Fradulent 'Service Charge' ($399.00) added to sales price after the price was agreed upon. In my opinion, adding to the profit on the sale by creating a 'Service Fee' and then open the possibility to book it as an expense for tax purposes. I consider it grossly deceptive and misleading when questioned about the charge. I later called and spoke with the Service Mgr. regarding what I believed were clutch issues. He informed me that the automatic transmission does not have a clutch. If you look on line Hyundai clealy identifies Dual (2) clutches. He stated they could not even merely look at the Kona for 30 days. The Kona was sold as Certifiied. I simple would not do business with them again and certainly not recommend them to others. Poor service. They couldn't keep my appoinment for oil change. 10:30 put off to 11:30 or,12;00. Got there at 10:15. Our car was fixed but that is pretty much the only good thing I have to say about my experience. We were told we could get a loaner while our car was being fixed but that never happened, however my sister thing I have to say about my experience. We were told we could get a loaner while our car was being fixed but that never happened, however my sister-in-law who had an issue during the third week our car was there was able to get one for 3 days. The engine rebuild that was done only is warranted for 12,000 miles or 12 months despite this being a recurring issue for hyundai. They said they would detail the car since they never got us a loaner however they need to hire someone before that can be done and they don't know when that will be either. So much run around. I would never consider buying another hyundai again and am looking to sell asap. More
Service did a good job of installing the complete antenna system in my 2017 Hyundai Sonata. Note I did not need a complete antenna system as there was nothing wrong with it. It’s just I lost my shark fin cov system in my 2017 Hyundai Sonata. Note I did not need a complete antenna system as there was nothing wrong with it. It’s just I lost my shark fin cover that protects the circuitboard. The shark fin cover came off on the interstate while I was driving the car. Hyundai corporation doesn’t just sell a replacement cover. You have to buy the whole antenna system. The shark fin covers coming off is a known problem to Hyundai. Yet they’ve done nothing to correct the problem. This is a item that customers should not have to pay for out of their pocket. More
