I went into the dealership to have the battery checked on my vehicle. While I was waiting, I looked around the showroom at the new cars. Mr. Henry approached me and asked if I needed assistance. He stayed with me and we talked about the cars and admired them. Then I told him that my next car would be a hybrid. He asked if I wanted to go look at the hybrids. Since I had time I went with Mr. Henry. There was a beautiful red hybrid that I thought was absolutely the next car I would want. He asked if I was interested if he could put me in that car for the same or alittle bit more money. It doesn't hurt to look, and besides, I already had a great car with just 24,000 miles on it. The rest of the story, he put me in the car for a few dollars more and when they came to tell me my car was ready in service, I told them I had turned it in. We all had a good laugh. Mr. Henry was polite, listened to me, did not oversell, told me the vehicles really sell themselves. I have been back to the dealership about another purchase and Mr. Henry always comes to greet me and ask me about my vehicle. When I bought my vehicle he was a new employee and I think he will have a great future selling, especially a great car like the Hyundai. More
I came in to have my tire pressure checked because the low pressure indicator light came on. While I was there I decided it was determined that I could use an oil change. I agreed to the oil change and low pressure indicator light came on. While I was there I decided it was determined that I could use an oil change. I agreed to the oil change and it was suggested that I have my tires rotated as well. I was called later to suggest that I needed the Cabin Air Filter changed. I had never heard of or ever had a Cabin Air Filter changed but, thought it might be something in newer vehicles so, I agreed at a cost of $44.95, $19.66 in labor. Research later told me it only takes 7 min to change this filter, that would mean I was charge at a rate of $168.51/hour. I found I could purchase this filter for between $13 ~ $19, I was charged $25.29. All that said, I have since looked on the Mungenast website and found coupon for $25.95 oil change, I was charged $41.87. There was also a coupon for Manager' special, spend $50 - $100 save $10, $101 - $200, save $20. I feel I should have been made aware of the coupons and at the very least I should have Saved $16.92 on oil change and $10 for spending $99.85 assuming I should have only been charged $29.95 for oil change. Total over charge in my opinion, and sense Mungenast is so interested in my opinion, I was over charged $26.92 or per Manger Special me spending as it was $116.13 I should have save $20. With all that said, I can't really say that I trust Mungenast to be fair so I will seek my future vehicle service elsewhere. More
I have worked with Mike and he has always been up front and honest with me which is a quality not seen much these days. Mike always get me in and out in a timely manner. So from my previous review, today was my first oil change. Of course everyone wants to feel special all the time, and not just because he/she is in the market to buy a new car; maintenance and servic change. Mungenast again, hit it out of the park today! Although the service department was VERY busy, I was again well taken care of and did not feel like a hindrance or a "thorn in anyone's side." My name was remembered, everything was explained in detail, and was of course, welcomed back. Don, in service, and I were in his office going over what needed to be done today and another employee came in to ask him for something. Don, very politely said as soon as we were all finished and I was set to go, then he would be with him. He could have left me in the office to take care of whatever it was, but he didn't. He took his time until we were finished and I appreciate that. Of course while waiting I saw a familiar face who recognized me as well. Good 'ol Joe who sold me my new car!! He has such a "friend" persona and not the typical "sleezeball salesman." He remembered everything! My job (I'm off for the summer), that my sister came with me to purchase my car, and the make, model, and color of my car as well. While waiting, he stopped by to check to see if I needed anything. It was great to know (and see) I wasn't just a number to meet a quota; he really cared. The Mungenast dealership IS a family, and I'm proud to be a part of it. More

We came in for service repair on our 2008 Hyundai Sonata and walked away with a new 2012 Hyundai Sonata instead! After seeing the sign that they were in need of 2008 and 2009 Sonata's, my husband inquired and walked away with a new 2012 Hyundai Sonata instead! After seeing the sign that they were in need of 2008 and 2009 Sonata's, my husband inquired about this while waiting for service to diagnose the problem in our 2008. Kelly Sullivan was extremely helpful in helping my husband explore the option of trading in our 2008 for a new 2012. They then called me at work to ask permission to run some numbers (even without running my credit) to see if it's something we'd like to pursue (no pressure). I said yes and then got a call shortly after that with an approximate payment amount and an appraisal on our current vehicle. It was a generous offer for our trade in, so I decided to pursue. I gave Ricky Williams permission to go ahead and run our credit to get approval from the bank. Ricky assured me he would not shop this around to everyone as other dealers had done in the past. He has several key relationships with several banks and would pick the 2 best suited to meet my needs. That made me feel a lot more confident that I was going to get a better rate and won't have to take a huge hit on my credit report. Kelly let my husband drive the vehicle home and pick me up to let me test drive it. We drove back up to the dealership and began the process of signing all the paperwork. It was extremely easy, no-pressure and we got a great deal! Kelly and Ricky were extremely friendly, honest, helpful and pleasant to work with. We had purchased our last Hyundai from Mungenast Hyundai and were pleased with them then and are even more pleased with them now. So happy to see that they are really taking the customer service seriously and making the car buying experience one to look forward to and not one to dread!! Thanks Kelly, Ricky and the whole Mungenast team for working us a deal we couldn't refuse!! I will definitely recommend anyone I know looking for a car to come see you first! More
The new dealership I had service at was Mungenast Hyundai at 649 Dunn Rd. I have to say the the new building is beautiful, very clean, bathrooms wonderful, lounge/waiting area extremely comfortable and nicel at 649 Dunn Rd. While waiting, the first thing I noticed was the advisors coming out to each person and showing them their tire alignments and alerting customers to problems. I only heard one person not neading an alignment in the room. One man could do without, but there was a small problem that should be attended to sooner than later. So the advisor talked him into the work. Hmmm, wish I had paid more attention Before I told my advisor to go ahead with the alignment. To the tune of one hundred dollars more I now owed on my bill, when I was expecting to come in for a 20 dollar oil change with my coupon. I imagine that the tire alignment is standard procedure for the dealership, but I have to wonder if it is being done to bring in more money to pay for the new building. This experience will definitely make me rethink where I will get my next car maintenance. I have limited funds, so actually having to pay out another hundred dollars today now makes it impossible for me to stop at the grocery store on my way home. Check book now on E. The service advisor was really very helpful and personable, but when bringing me to the cashier and asking that I make sure and give the dealership a 10, I really felt insulted. The form that is stapled to the front of your service bill is really quite adequate and not as tachy as being asked. So all in all, the work was done well, my car washed and I opened my door and got in. While driving home I looked at my door panel, and right there was a big greasy handprint on my leather door panel. Lovely! How do I remove that? More
I purchased a pre owned vehicle on Jan. 28,11. A few weeks after my purchased I tried to let my windows down. All worked except one of the rear windows. After not hearing from him I emailed him explaining that one of the windows would not go down and that I wanted to bring the car back so that this could be repaird, after all I had just purchased the vehicle and the window should have been working. I took my car in yesterday 02/24/11. The service person was Matt Fluchel, he must have had a bad morning, because his attitude was ugly. After explaining why I was there, he acted like this is your problem now. But he said that he would need to talk to the manager, THEY REFUSED TO MAKE IT RIGHT. Warning:... If you purchase a vehicle from Dave Mungenast, make sure, very sure that you check everything on the vehicle, I learned the hard way, this company will not MAKE IT RIGHT. Dave Sinclair's moto is IF IT IS NOT RIGHT WE WILL MAKE IT RIGHT, and that's where I should have gone to purchase my car. Needless to say I will never recommend this organization. More
I absolutley love this dealership. I have owned many vehicles and have dealt with many dealerships. Mungenast stands well above all those other dealerships without a doubt. That in itself is a huge bonus. Everyone there are all so friendly and really go all out to make sure I am satisified with every aspect of my vehicles. This is a top notch dealership in all facets. From sales, to financing to service, and even parts. Service is very important to me because I believe in service after the sale and so does Mungenast Hyundai. I love having my vehicles washed and vacuumed each time I bring them in for servicing. I have 2 vehicles that are and 1 that will be serviced by Mungenast. It doesn't matter on the make of the vehicle either... they know their stuff and are able to help me with the upkeep of my vehicles. They do follow-up calls after every service that is performed. I have never had to voice a concern about my experiences. I have always been treated extremely well by this dealership. I actually get excited to see the people at Mungenast because I feel like we know each other. The people there are very personable. They care and it shows. I share my experiences with others and I highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a vehicle any chance I get. The dealership and the people within it are totally awesome! More
