I had just gotten off of work when I realized that my tire was making a strange sound. So I drove up to the service department and Nick Ellison came out and I said I believe there is a screw or nail in tire was making a strange sound. He looked at and said that there was and had me pull up in front of another car in line. Asked if I could get the tires rotated as well and he said "no problem" even though they were 30 minutes from closing up shop and were overwhelmed with other customers! He got me in and out in excellent time and even inspected and washed my car! Thanks guys for such excellent service! I will be returning for my next service! More
Originally went to Suntrup Hyundai in South County to buy a 2013 Elantra. We agreed upon a price with no strings attached and I took the car home. The next day Suntrup tried to take a rebate away and raise the price of the car. After a day and a half haggeling with Suntrup I took the car back to the dealership. Poor customer service. Bait and Switch????? I called Kelly Sullivan with Mungenast Hyundai, told her what I was looking for and how much I was willing to pay. She told me she would do her best to take care of me. She called me back in 15 minutes and said that we had a deal. Not only did I save money at Mungenast but the customer service was far superior than any other dealership I have dealt with. They also threw in a few other perks to make the deal happen. It took me longer to drive to Mungenast, I live in Imperial Mo, than it did to make a deal, sign the papers and drive off of the lot. Ryan was my sales associate once I arrived. He was very professional, polite, and informed. I would buy a car from him again. I highly recommend Ryan. Look for him when you buy your car at this location. This is how every dealership should operate. I don't want to sit in a dealership and waste my whole day while the crusty sales person tries to pinch every penny out of me. Great job Mungenast, and thank you for making my car buying experience easy. I should have went there first. More

All of the employees we dealt with were very professional, courteous, and seemed to really want to get the deal done. We had an excellent experience with Mungaset Hyundai when we bought our Accent GS. They were willing to work with us to get us the car we need with the options we wanted and they didn't even charge us for th we bought our Accent GS. They were willing to work with us to get us the car we need with the options we wanted and they didn't even charge us for the extra features that came preinstalled with the car that we did not want. They were willing to match and beat other offers we found from other dealers and their final price even came in $100 below what we agreed upon. In person on pick-up day they were friendly and helpful, and we got through the paperwork in no time. Overall, we had a highly positive experience with everyone at Mungaset and would recommend them without reservation to anyone looking for a Hyundai. More
My experience at Mungenast Hyundai has been nothing , but wonderful. I've been in the market for a new car in recent months. I initially had negative feelings about Car Dealerships due to rumors. I did in fact submit an online request for more info and this was directed to Kelly Sullivan. I looked up Kelly's reputation online what I found help to alleviate some fears I had. I made an appointment to come in and Kelly wasn't available. She made arrangements for Ryan Zimmerman(awesome guy) to meet with me and address my needs. Ryan's sense of customer satisfaction was evident from the fact that he attentively listened to what I had to say. Based on what Ryan and I discussed he presented options that would work within my budget and would allow me to get the car I wanted!! May I remind you I came in to just get my car appraised for it's value. I ended up buying a brand new 2013 Sonata which I am very happy with. I have only Kelly Sullivan and Ryan Zimmerman to thank for the wonderful experience I enjoyed. I will be recommending my friends and family to only Mungenast Hyundai!!!! More

I had done quite a bit of research and pretty much knew what I wanted, but the experience of working with Rodney and everyone else I came in contact with at Mungenast was a overall good experience. Everything was above board, no games, I was not pressured or talked down to, and I certainly appreciate that. I have, and will continue to recommend Rodney and Mungenast Hyundai. More
I would just like to start off by saying that I typically don't like to do this kind of thing, but my experience was so bad that and i am so frustrated that I think it needs to be brought to late. When i first go to the dealership i was pleased to see that all the cars were clean and presentable that is a huge deal in my mind. I was trading in my car, and was not exactly sure what I wanted. My sales person did show me a few different cars and was knowledgeable about the different brands and did let me test drive a few cars. That part of the experience was the only enjoyable car. I ended deciding to lease a car, i didn't know that you had to make the first months payment right then and there, but ok no problem. I explained to them that I had a lean on the car i was trading in. They told me to cancel the check because the bank was just going to mail it back to me. Ok makes sense. I bought the car on the day my payment was due, and I know you have two weeks before it's considered late, and 30 days before they report you to claims. Again this seems fine, this is a "reputable dealer" so there was no reason i thought they would have a problem mail them a check. I am resent college graduate, and they told me that if I show them a pay check stub and my diploma that i qualify for a discount. I did not have it with me but was told i could email it to them. Again seems reasonable, monday morning I will be more than happy to email this to you. About two weeks pass, and I get a phone call from my sales rep telling me that i need to come into the dealership ASAP because they have been hounding him about this paperwork. This is ware my nightmare starts. I wasn't thrilled that I had to leave work early to go back into the dealership to re-sign the paperwork, but ok things happen I can make an exception. He also told me that I needed the copy of my diploma and pay stub. I found this hard to believe Because i made sure i e-mailed it to the finance manager the next day as a .PDF As an electrical Engineer I find it hard to believe that their email would strip off an attachment as a .PDF when i sent it from my work email account. I get to dealership and ask for my sales person to be paged, I'm kind of walking around and i notice that my sales rep is at the vending machine buying a snack. He then sees and comes running over. REALLY I LEFT WORK EARLY BECAUSE YOU TOLD ME IT WAS ASAP AND YOU YOUR GOING TO KEEP ME WAITING BECAUSE YOU WANTED A SNACK...REALLY The finance manger then explains to me that the original paperwork had an error in it and the my payment was not showing up on it. Ok you guys had no problem taking the money out of my bank account how did it not transfer to the contract. The finance manager also didn't really seem to know what he was doing, he had to call two or three people and i was stuck waiting in his office for at least 20 mins. I then get home already annoyed, and i get a letter from the old financial institution telling me that i missed a payment and that i have 15 days left to make the payment. Because they screwed up the paperwork they didn't mail the check so it reflects on me as missing a payment. So the next morning i call the old financial institution and explain to them the situation, they tell me that I need to call the dealer and see what is going on. I call the dealer and again more frustration. I ASK TO BE TRANSFERED TO MY SALES REP, HE IS HELPING A CUSTOMER OK CAN YOU PLEASE TRANSFER ME TO HIS VOICE MAIL (SEEMS REASONABLE RIGHT) HE DOES NOT HAVE HIS VOICE MAIL SET UP. How do you not have your voicemail extremely unprofessional in my eyes. i was able to get a hold of him buy calling his cell phone...yet again extremely unprofessional i don't want to have to call your cell phone to get a hold of you at work. i explain the situation and he like don't worry you have 90 days....AGAIN xx anybody who knows anything knows you have 30 days before they send you to claims and i refuse to have my credit score hurt because of something that wasn't my fault. On top of him not having his voice mail set up i try calling the finance manager who i did the deal with, HIS VOICEMAIL IS FULL AND NOT ABLE TO LEAVE A MESSAGE....AGAIN EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL So now that i am beyond frustrated i call the sales manager and explain to her the situation she try explaining it and tells me that the check will be mailed out that day. OK. I wait two days call the old finance company and see if they have got the check, and to my surprise she tells me they have not. I then call the dealership again and talk to the sales rep manager and basically like what is going on, this is not a game, i don't know if you think im just some dumb kid, or the fact that you already got my money you can just give me the run around. she explains to me that they need both owners signature before they can mail the check but she was going to put in a special request to get it mailed out the next day. I then tell her i want an email with the tracking number because i just don't believe anything you guys are telling me right now. To my surprise the check actually went out, so when i call the old finance company again she tells me the check is short and that they have sent a letter to the dealers. AGAIN WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING, WHY IS IT THIS HARD. I then again called the dealership to try and talk to her but she is in a meeting, so i then get transfered to my sales rep telling him how im still getting screwed over and i refuse to pay any late fee's or anything because of this. He tells me they will take care of it. I then email the sales manager telling her the situation and wanting written conformation that they are going to pay the late fee's IM STILL WAINT FOR A RESPONSE. On top of all this, the temp tag the gave me will expire on Saturday the 10th. I am laving Friday the 9th at 9AM to go out of town. As im explaining this situation to both the sales rep and the sales manager they asure me that they will give me a dealer plate or something before the temp tag expires. I DON'T WANT DEALER TAGS, I AM LEASING THE CAR THE SLAES TAX WAS BUILT INTO THE LOAN, HOW DOES A CAR LOAN TAKE A MONTH. I am so annoyed that i can reach anyone there, they don't respond to email, they either don't have their voice mail set up or it's full. IF SOMEONE HAD TO CALL MY BOSS BECAUSE I WASN'T RESPONDING TO EMAIL OR MY VOICE MAIL WASN'T SET UP OR WAS FULL I WOULD PROBABLY BE FIRED. i find this extremely UNPROFESSIONAL and just in excusable for a while i was curious about why i was only able to reach him on his cell phone, I then realize that when you call the main phone there is a message telling you that these phones calls are monitored and recorded. I hope he not calling me from his phone because he doesn't want someone higher up the food chain that i am this upset, but at this point i really just don't know. people from the dealership customer relation have given me a phone call or two asking about the situation , but it really doesn't seem to have done anything. AT THIS POINT THERE IS NOT ONE POSITIVE THING THAT HAS HAPPENED THAT WOULD EVER MAKE ME WANT TO GO BACK TO THE THEM AND BUY ANOTHER CAR...I REALLY KIND OF JUST WISHED I WOULD HAVE KEPT MY OLD ONE... I could not have been more satisfied with the experience I had today (08/03/13) at the Mungenast Hyundai Dealership on Dunn Road! I found all the staff I encountered to be very friendly & helpful. I originally wasn't expected to pick up the car I had purchased until Monday but I was excited so decided to drive up & look at it. I was extremely impressed with Eric Krumm's proficiency for he had the majority of the paperwork already completed & together, Eric & Ryan Zimmerman worked diligently to ensure I was even more pleased with my choice as I was able to drive my 2009 Hyundai Sonata home that very day...much to my surprise! I had not owned a newer car in many years but Ryan explained every single option my car had, how to operate them, & was very patient with me. Mungenast Hyundai is truly blessed to have these two outstanding young men representing this Dealership. Eric & Ryan both exceeded my expectation in regards to knowledge, helpfulness, & professionalism! I even received a call on my trip home from Eric inquiring if I was satisfied how the car I had purchased drove. Should I ever need a new car in the future I will surely visit this Dealership again, as well as recommending Eric & Ryan to anyone I learn is in need of a dependable car & appreciates outstanding service!
