Was online and saw a vehicle. It said to click to get today's price. I got a call from Annie, she said it was there and scheduled an appointment. A little over an hour it wasn't there. Saw another vehic today's price. I got a call from Annie, she said it was there and scheduled an appointment. A little over an hour it wasn't there. Saw another vehicle that was similar. However when financing came about the vehicle was more than 1000 more due to vehicle shortages. So why was the lesser price shown. When it came to financing also, I saw a lot of paperwork before the actual financing was done. Seems to be a lot of bait and switch here. A year ago when I was at Bommarito, there were no secrets and xx, I sat with the finance manager as he tried and got me a deal. He showed me the process and what he was doing. More
I bought a new Genesis GV80 here and have been so pleased with everything aspect of the sale. This dealer stood out from all the others, starting with a personalized video sent to me prior to our first meeti with everything aspect of the sale. This dealer stood out from all the others, starting with a personalized video sent to me prior to our first meeting. The sales rep was courteous and knowledgeable. And the general manager went out of his way to make us feel special and appreciated. They continue to go above and beyond with follow up calls and check ins after the purchase to insure we were completely satisfied with our new car. I would highly recommend this dealership. More
If you're a buyer that can't physically come into the dealership- be prepared and consider not wasting your time. I am not local to the area so I had to have my parents come into look at the car- they o dealership- be prepared and consider not wasting your time. I am not local to the area so I had to have my parents come into look at the car- they originally had the car pretty overpriced so I asked if pricing was flexible and was told no, all pricing is firm. So, we thought we were going to have to just walk away at that point. After that, I got a bunch of follow ups about missing my appointment even though my parents had been there, which was annoying. I checked the carfax a few weeks later and the price had dropped to the price point I wanted. I know it's a crazy market right now, so I tried to be understanding and called back wanting to purchase the car now that it was in my price range. It was basically impossible to get a hold of an actual person on the sales team to discuss things further. I kept getting bounced around. The call center employees were nice, but didn't have authority to really answer my questions. I let multiple people I talked to know that I was having a hard time getting a hold of someone and not a single person ever said sorry or seemed empathetic to how much of my time this was taking. I was told they wouldn't take a deposit to hold the car because of the "crazy market". Which their business, their choice- but I think after experiencing their sales service I understand why they still haven't sold this car still after nearly a month in this "crazy" market. It took forever to even get a follow up from someone on the actual sales team about questions on purchasing the car. Which, it is a holiday week so again, was trying to be understanding. I had family in town that day so had to wait until Monday to call back first thing when they opened. All morning I was trying to get the sales person on the phone to talk, but heard nothing until eventually was connected with another sales manager. I just needed more information on the car and how much it would be to get it certified pre owned. It took the entire day to get an answer- I had to call back multiple times to follow up over the course of 6 and a half hours. When I finally did get an answer, it was priced ridiculously ($2500 to get it certified). I have gotten the pricing on this from other dealerships in my car shopping and its never been nearly this much. Then the salesperson made a comment about how these other dealers were probably marking up their prices in other ways- which is also not the case. I actually talked to one dealership that could've shipped me a nicer trim level of the car I wanted from Miami for less than what this dealership was wanting me to pay for this car- ridiculous. Overall I feel that my time was wasted and really did not enjoy my experience with this dealership. More
We live 2 hours away and where on the phone all morning getting the exact price for a car. Once we were able to get the amount, because they wanted a cashier check to purchase the car we started the 2 hour getting the exact price for a car. Once we were able to get the amount, because they wanted a cashier check to purchase the car we started the 2 hour drive to the dealership. 1 1/2 hours into trip we were called and told they sold car to someone else. We were told "first come first served ". Great customer service, I say not! They offer to pay for our gas. Wow, I wonder if Mr Napleton would have treated his customers the same way 90 years ago??? This would never happen at a true family owned dealership! More
I called to set up an appointment a day ahead of time to look at a used truck that was exactly what I wanted. I explained multiple times that I was taking a day off work and getting up at 5:30am to drive fr look at a used truck that was exactly what I wanted. I explained multiple times that I was taking a day off work and getting up at 5:30am to drive from Kansas City to St Louis to look at this truck, and called as soon as the dealership was open to verify the truck's availability and that my appointment was all set since I was driving 3.5 hours. I was assured that the truck was still available and my appointment was confirmed. Upon arrival I was told someone else would be test driving the truck before me, and later learned from someone in business development that oversees all this dealership's locations that the other appointment had been set up for 1 minute before mine. They made sure to let me test drive it immediately after the other person's test drive was complete, essentially playing me against the other potential buyer to affect the negotiation, and sure enough, the truck was sold as soon as my test drive was complete. The salesman, Ameer, was very polite and apologized for how things went, but the manager scoffed at me when I told him I had driven 3.5 hours only to have the truck sold right out from under me. He said it's first come first serve, so if you make an appointment to test drive a vehicle, understand it means absolutely nothing unless you're on the lot. The manager's solution for me? He offered to have someone go get a different model truck with more miles on it from a sister dealership. While waiting on that, the salesman informed me that someone else was trying to buy that truck, so we needed to both drive there as soon as possible if I wanted a chance to purchase it. I laughed, explained that selling a truck out from someone else shouldn't be the solution offered for doing the same to me 15 minutes earlier. But it was clear this is how this dealership operates on a daily basis, especially considering the complete lack of apology from the sales manager for having a truck sold out from under me after a 3.5 hour drive. I get that low inventory is complicating the truck-buying process right now, and throwing out all common decency and respect for customers might work in the short term, but I hope something changes so that others don't experience the same frustration I did. I appreciated the phone call from someone in a corporate business development office, but have little faith that anything will change with this dealership and any others under the same ownership. Anytime I try to call this dealer to ask about cars in their service department my call goes to the Service Manager's Voicemail but I never get a call back.
