Staff Doesn't Listen On June 22 I went to a sales event and test drove a new car. When talking afterward, I stated that any transaction would be cash-only. The salesman asked me some questions, which I answered. He left and came back several minutes later with a monthly payment. I said that there were no monthly payments in a cash-only deal. The dealer made some other proposals before I left, which I declined. On June 30 I was notified by a bank that a loan application had been made in my name. I called the bank and found out that it was initiated by the dealer. On July 2 I filed a complaint. via the dealer's website. Having received no response by July 5, I left a message for the general manager. After 27 more hours with no response I filed a complaint with the Hazelwood Police Department. On the way home I stopped at the dealership and waited until the sales manager was available. He said it was a misunderstanding. But it would not have happened if the staff were listening to what I said. Also I said that I wanted a car of a size similar to my Cavalier. When the Elantra that I test drove was more than I wanted to spend, they tried to sell me an Accent, which is smaller than I want. They are more interested in selling me a car, than listening to me. More

Bills were late and I have just started to catch up on them. I knew that I was certainly not going to have what I had the last 4 years in my lease and I was correct. However, the Finance Manager, came out of his office came up to me and was able to knock of $100 off my monthly payment in addition to doubling my warranty. A deal I couldn't pass up. This dealership will do everything to keep you happy and comfortable in a car of your choice. More

Then chose a dealership in your area that works with USAA (United States Automobile Association), must have served in the Military or be a family member, and a member of USAA. Then print out your car information with the price and take it to the dealer. You know before you get there that they have the car you want and what it will cost you. USAA also offers a lower interest rate when you buy your car this way. It was great! More
