I NEEDED to buy a new car and that is never a place you want to be. I had been looking at the Sonata at St. Charles Automotive, about 2 miles from my house, but after a few email exchanges with Kelly Sull want to be. She just sounded like someone I could talk to. I've never purchased a car from a woman, and I really think it made it a wholly different, and positive experience. I felt like I was buying from a friend. We did a test drive, and within minutes of getting back, we had started the negotiation process. She and John (I believe that is the manager's name) really did the best they could for me and still make a little money, which I totally understand. That's what they are there for. I was afraid I would leave in tears and instead I left with a huge smile on my face and an awesome new car! St. Charles Auto might sell more cars, but only because enough people don't know about Kelly and the crew at Dave Mungenast. Even the service department folk were nice!!! I cannot say enough good things about this buying experience and you are welcome to print that anywhere you'd like to. I put it on Facebook! More
We worked with Charlie Sutton, a very friendly, low pressure salesman - a great guy. After agreeing to buy, however, we were forced to wait quite some time; about half an hour before getting into the pressure salesman - a great guy. This may very well have been because of the year end rush. All in all, we are very pleased with the car and experienced a minimum of hassle in purchasing it. More

Recently my SUV was totaled and needed to get into another vehicle and soon due to my job as a home health nurse...I picked Hyundai due to there awesome warranties! The facility was very nice and clean all there staff were very sufficient and NICE!!! The pricing of there autos was very good....Both John Hawkins and Kelly Sullivan were exceptional salesmen I would def reccomend to my friends either one of them to buy an automobile from!!! Jim Robishaw also a remarkable man, went above and beyond to get me a great interest rate and the payment I wanted...!!!! out of the 12 cars I have bought since I was 16 and now 25 this has been the most pleasent and joyable buying experience ive had!!!!! Kelly Sullivan and the Internet Sales Manager, sorry I forgot his name, were wonderful to work with. They did not pressure me at all and worked hard to understand my needs and provide suggestions. Other members of the team were even helping and chatting with me while Kelly worked with other customers and to get my deal finalized. Kelly Sullivan was very responsive to my internet inquiries and really easy to work with throughout the purchase/trade process. There was no pressure from her or anyone at the dealership. I did my homework and knew what I was looking for and what I felt was a fair price for my trade in and Kelly and John worked with me in a fair and respectful manner to come to agreement on both the purchase price and my trade in value. It was probably the lowest stress new car purchase that I have ever made. Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and I will definitely be returning there for my service and maintenance on my new Santa Fe. More
Our first visit was with Harvey Berry and he was very helpful and answered all our questions. We test drove the only Veracruz that was on the lot, but once he knew that we did not want a car with that many extras and really required an AWD, he went to work to find us what we wanted. I am very pleased with our new car and was glad we could make a deal with Mungenast. We had a 2004 Santa Fe on which all service was performed by them. They took very good care of our car and us as well. It had 181,000+ miles on it and I expect we will have the same kind of treatment and longevity with our new Veracruz. More
We had been searching for a new car for some time. We were sold on the Hyundai brand after much research. I had visted the dealership 3 times before and even though the selection of vehicles was less th were sold on the Hyundai brand after much research. I had visted the dealership 3 times before and even though the selection of vehicles was less than the competition, Mungenast had exactly the car we were looking for at the time. I believe their inventory is a bit lower due to the fact that they are moving to a new dealership facility being built in a better location about 2 miles up the road. The new location will have high visibility and easier access and we look forward to having our car serviced in the new service area. They were professional and spent time with us. We test drove 5 vehicles to make absolutely sure we bought the perfect car.....which we did today. Not the high pressure sales tactics as displayed by other dealerships and sales reps. Mr. Charlie Sutton was knowledgeable and friendly and wanted to make sure we were happy with our purchase. The sales manager, Gary, was able to work out the price we were after in terms of not only the bottom line price but also the monthly payment. We had left on a Saturday afternoon knowing that he was going to see if there was anything else he could do to work with us. Sure enough, on Monday, he contacted us and actually worked out the "final" deal over the phone. All the paperwork was ready when we arrived and the process went smooth. I would recommend the dealership, our sales rep and the sales manager to everyone. We are looking forward to having a great experience with our new Sonata and possibly purchasing another Hyundai for our son in the next year, naturally at Mungenast hyundai. More
The level of service offered by both my salesman Charlie Sutton and everyone else at Mungenast Hyundai was exceptional. I felt welcomed and fully taken care of from the moment I walked in. By comparison, I went to a different dealership before coming to Mungenast and not a single person greeted me or offered to help me in the 5 minutes I was standing inside their showroom or the 10 minutes I was walking their lot. Charlie was well informed, friendly, and took care of me from beginning to end and was always available and in contact with me when I needed information, whether in person, by phone, or via email. Usually you dread the car purchasing process, but Charlie did a good job of putting me at ease and giving me individual attention. He listened to my needs and did not pressure me out of my comfort zone. He used his time to inform rather than persuade. The current Mungenast lot is a little bit small, but they are already building a new location that should allow their facilities to match their exceptional selection, customer service, and sales (as well as service) experience. This is the second vehicle I have purchased from Mungenast Hyundai and not only would I purchase there again, I would highly recommend them for both sales and service. More
