Genesis of Hampton

This has been the worst vehicle buying experience I have ever had. We went in to check out the Genesis GV70 and ended up with a salesman named Omar. After test driving the vehicle, we explained we liked how ever had. We went in to check out the Genesis GV70 and ended up with a salesman named Omar. After test driving the vehicle, we explained we liked how it drove but wanted a different color and a tow hitch. Omar said he would locate what we wanted. A couple days go by and never heard from him. I ended up getting in touch with Adam, the GM who said he located the vehicle we wanted. I tried letting Adam know we wanted that one, but never heard back from him. I then was put in touch with Mr. Hicks who Omar said located the vehicle and when I was sent the info, it was not the vehicle we wanted. I told Omar it was not the correct vehicle. Finally the correct vehicle was located and we went to complete the deal at the dealership. We were supposed to meet with Mr. Hicks by appointment but he was not there. We were handed off to Omar again. The car had a dealer add-on called the MVP protection package which was included in the total price. I asked if it was completed on the vehicle and was told by Adam it was on the vehicle, only to find out on close inspection it was not. This package includes a ceramic coat, theft ID markings, edge and door handle protectors and interior treatment along with windshield repellent coating. So Finally, I was told we could make an appointment to have this all completed. We contacted Omar who said to bring it in on Monday morning. After arrival found out there wasn't an appointment actually made. After waiting all day it was only partially completed and would require another appointment, which we have not made yet. The sales paperwork was completed in the Hyundai system, so we had to wait an extended period of time while the finance manager re-did all the paperwork in the computer. When we left with the vehicle we noticed the fuel tank was less than half full. It was supposed to have a full tank per the Genesis sticker. We were basically lied to about the MVP package already being on the vehicle, sales and management would not return calls, texts, or emails. The salesman was not motivated to sell or locate a vehicle of our liking and scheduling at this dealer is lacking. We are very disappointed in the experience and urge others to think twice before going to this dealership. The only person in this process worthy of praise was Dani who was responsive to texts and calls while trying to help us coordinate the sale and getting information More
