Most notably, Derrick Smellie went above and beyond to make the entire process of purchasing my new Genesis GV80 not only easy but enjoyable. Derrick was knowledgeable, transparent, and truly focused on delivering an outstanding customer experience. His approach was consultative rather than pushy, and he took the time to walk me through every step, answer all my questions, and ensure I felt confident in my decision. The process of building and buying the GV80 was seamless from start to finish. The dealership handled everything with a level of organization and clarity that is rare in today’s car-buying landscape. No games, no surprises—just excellent service. Stay Away- One of the Worst Customer Experiences I recently visited this dealership where I came prepared to buy a Genesis. There was no one in the showroom and the salesman showed no interest in tal I recently visited this dealership where I came prepared to buy a Genesis. There was no one in the showroom and the salesman showed no interest in talking with me about the car and reluctantly showed me a car in the showroom. At one point, he actually yawned as I was asking him a question with no apology for doing so even when I asked him if he was bored. I asked about a lease program and he had to ask his manager if they had a lease program. The manager also made no attempt to answer questions and gave a price that did not include the package that I stated that I wanted. When I asked how much the package would add to his price, he simply said it would be "more". It was very clear that this dealership does not have a culture that cares about its customers. The other dealerships that I visited on the same day, Infiniti, Audi and Mercedes all had friendly, knowledgeable sale people and made you feel good when walking out. The Genesis dealer, on the other hand, stood out for its dismal approach to customers as well as sales people who do not know and/or care to answer questions. I would never buy here and certainly would not trust that they would provide the level of service I would expect from a luxury car dealer. More
