Finally, through a mutual friend, I reached Scott Johnson, the GM from Jim Ellis Genesis of Atlanta. He and his team took care of my routine maintenance in a polite and respectful manner! His service team of Quincy, Carlton and Antuan were outstanding. They communicated with me, showed up when expected and did a great job taking care of my vehicle. If looking for a new vehicle, Genesis has great cars! Just save the frustration and head straight to Jim Ellis Genesis of Atlanta. They WILL do stand by their commitments! More

I came into this location to originally get my car serviced. First off let's start by saying the service team here needs to improve trumenduslly. Long story short communication needs to get better and serviced. First off let's start by saying the service team here needs to improve trumenduslly. Long story short communication needs to get better and they should have someone there to answer questions if your rep is not there are the time. I spent $3,600 to get everything fixed, just to get home and have a smoke coming from the under the hood because they taped my engine cover which cause the cover to melt by the time I got home and my check engine light come back on. I went back and they did apologize for taping engine cover, said it was a mechanics mistake and did replace it but how does that even happen? I get charged so much just to get some tape and turn off engine light temporarily? What kind of service is this? I get being short staff and all but that is highly unacceptable and the Service manger knew but not once did he come over to me and ensure I will be taken care of. After speaking to my representative and him changing engine cover he said it will cost more money to fix check engine light again!! So I decided to leave the service department and head over to sales where I met Dwayne Palmer and instantly went from being upset to feeing like I actully matter and my voice is being heard. Dwayne treated me like family and made sure everything made sense. He doesnt force you to buy and truly let's you know if it's a good deal or not. I was able to walk out with a 2023 genesis with no money down and a super low APR. Every step of the process was made easy and he made sure I left happy. Some of the paperwork on my end took a while to get and I had to leave for work, so Dwayne personally dropped me off .. no not Uber... he personally dropped me off and after receiving my paperwork when he got back to work he came back out after work to drop my car off personally. Dwayne was able to change my whole opinion/ experience about this dealership by just making feel heard. Thank you so much for going above and beyond to make sure I was happy. I would highly recommend anyone looking to buy a car at this location to ask for Dwayne Palmer, hands down best car buying experience. More

I wanted to shout out my salesmen Dwayne and his sales manager Jeff Keitz for their professionalism, friendliness, and the extremely positive experience I had earlier today test driving a G70 and a GV70. manager Jeff Keitz for their professionalism, friendliness, and the extremely positive experience I had earlier today test driving a G70 and a GV70. I sold cars for several years and I can say confidently that Dwayne is both a brand ambassador for Genesis, and someone who cares about his clients objective, needs, and goals. It's rare you find both. He took the time to hear the situation I was in, my background, vehicle preferences, and made me feel very much that he wasn't just there to shake hands, do a test drive, and ask what I wanted to do. In the auto sales world that's what makes someone an advocate, and not just the other end of a transaction. I moved to Atlanta from Michigan in March, and within 30 days my brand new 2022 Explorer ST with 4000 miles on it got rear ended and unfortunately totaled out. Not the ideal way to start your new life after moving across the country. And while an unfortunate situation, it's nice to know that you have someone in your corner to educate and assist you in identifying the right vehicle. I feel like whatever decision I make will be an informed one since Dwayne really took the time to go into the why of Genesis, not just what we were going to drive. Buying a new car is tough right now with all of the supply chain issues, but when it came time to talk about incoming units, upcoming allocations, and what my options could potentially be, Jeff Keitz was the man. He took the time to hear what I wanted, searched for comparable vehicles, and went through their existing inventory with deposits to let me know what vehicles may become available and would be worth putting my name is a second on. While I haven't purchased a vehicle from them just yet (I have some soul searching to do over the weekend as to whether it will be a G70 Sport Prestige 3.3TT w/AWD or a GV70 Sport Prestige 3.5T), I know that I will purchase my next vehicle through them and Genesis of Atlanta. Customer service goes well beyond just the people who buy a car the first time they walk in a dealership, and how you are treated when its clear that today wont be the day you take something home is almost more important than anything else. Kudos Gentlemen, I'll let you know Monday which vehicle I decide to go with. More

I have been attempting to schedule service for more than 3 months. They booked one in December for January service but no alert showed up so I called and they didn’t have an appointment. Due to COVID the wheel company (wheel/rim warranty) I rescheduled for Feb 15. Nobody showed, so I contacted again and was told someone would call back in 24-72 hours. Never happened. I texted and received a message from someone that said the service coordinator had surgery and they would call back last week. Never happened. I sent another text and will see what happens next. I have owned BMW and Audi have used Jim Ellis previously. Never had issues …wondering is this a Genesis issue? It’s been so long waiting that I now need maintenance. I never post, but not sure what else to do next? More
