I only gave 1 star because 0 stars was not an option! After my fiancée and I brought our Kia Optima in for service on Monday, we will never return to this dealership again for sales or service! We spoke to a guy by the name of Bill who gave us the typical negative experience you’d expect from a car dealership. We brought the vehicle in for recalls and to have the vehicle looked at because the check engine light was on. We received a phone call from Bill saying it would cost $640 plus $189.95 for a diagnostic fee which they’d waive if we completed the service. After getting a second opinion from our own mechanic we decided not to go through with the service. We still had to pay the diagnostic fee of $189.95 which we understood. After receiving a phone call that the vehicle was ready we go to pick it up and see that they charged us an additional $37 stating our vehicle failed a NYS inspection which we did not ask for!!! Then to top it off he says “the guys washed the car for you.” I go outside and the vehicle is filthy, they didn’t wash anything. And they took off my inspection sticker without replacing it so I had to drive without an inspection sticker! We then brought the vehicle to our mechanic who fixed the engine and did the NYS inspection for $200! Yet they wanted to charge $640 plus $37! CROOKS! I recommend you bring your vehicle someone else unless you enjoy having a negative experience! More
Worst experience ever at a dealership. Steven aka Brian held us for almost 6 hours, and the finance guy Jamal had a higher price of the vehicle from what the sticker price stated. I was experiencing an issue with my Kia Sorrento and I called a different dealership they were rude and not very helpful at all, when I called generation Kia I was greeted by Debbie who immediately made m called a different dealership they were rude and not very helpful at all, when I called generation Kia I was greeted by Debbie who immediately made me feel at ease. She put me through to a man named Vincent who was able to walk me through what needed to be done for my car and again Vincent and Debbie both took the stress that I was experiencing and turned it around. DO NOT BUY YOUR CARS HERE. They are liars, arrogant, and have no communication. We bought a Ford car and explicitly asked MULTIPLE times if the car can be serviced at Kia and they assured us multiple times have no communication. We bought a Ford car and explicitly asked MULTIPLE times if the car can be serviced at Kia and they assured us multiple times that it would be “no problem”. The NIGHT we picked up the car the check engine light came on. The next morning we brought it in and they told us they were unable to service it and did not have Ford software. After 3 weeks of not hearing anything and getting jerked around, we finally just picked up the car. We left multiple messages that weren’t unanswered. Every person we talked to sent us to a different person who had a different story. They said “we don’t have a crystal ball”. They didn’t update us once, they couldn’t even be bothered to call Ford. They acted like they were doing us a favor by “fixing it for free”. When we have a warranty through Ford and PAID FOR THEIR WARRANTY AFTER BEING ASSURED THEY COULD DO THE WORK ON YOUR CAR. Employees were not only unhelpful, they straight up lied and were very rude. Do not come here. They promised us they would pay the first car payment because it’s been in the shop since we had it. There is also a bubble in the tire and promised a new one. They REFUSED to put this in writing so I doubt we will get it. I only gave them 1 stat because I had to. They deserve 0. More
