From the moment we arrived, we scoped out a car or two and were greeted with a friendly smile and handshake from Victor. He was very willing to show us around, listened to what we were looking for in a ve and were greeted with a friendly smile and handshake from Victor. He was very willing to show us around, listened to what we were looking for in a vehicle, drove us to another lot to test drive the vehicle we chose and the rest is history. My Kelley Blue Book trade in value led me to Generation Kia, they reached out to me. However they offered me less than half of what KBB suggested. Negotiating with them was a nightmare. My salesperson was either super nice or a great actor. He seemed genuine and normal but both managers I dealt with were unyielding, insulting and unreasonable. The song & dance of the salesperson leaving to talk to the manager to see what he could do was exhausting. I had to leave the dealership because my frustration level was through the roof. I went back a second time because the salesperson said I could finally get what I wanted for my trade in. When I got there it instead was a haggling showdown. Plus, they say they have no dealership fees but then say you must purchase "Starguard" which is an anti-theft program for $1300. It is not optional and they will tell you it will help reduce your car insurance. State Farm never heard of this Starguard and does not give any discounts for having it. I was not told about Starguard until I had already selected a car, which I thought was another cheesy move. Finance was ok, long wait because they were understaffed. The managers were just bullies who didn't fake being decent very well. They also tried to sell me the car with one key. When I asked them to provide a second key they said no. After 20 minutes of arguing they said they'd get me one, but I'd have to pay for it. I tried to cancel the deal and asked for my deposit back. Ten minutes later Anthony announced that he spoke to upper management and they would pay for the second key. This whole show made me just want to wash up, it was gross. I like the car but was emotionally drained from the experience of buying there. I think my nice salesperson should work elsewhere. More
