A short while ago I wrote a negative review of Generation Kia based upon an unproductive experience on my first visit. Since then, the dealership has contacted me and urged me to give them another chance t Kia based upon an unproductive experience on my first visit. Since then, the dealership has contacted me and urged me to give them another chance to make me a satisfied customer. Needless to say, they succeeded beyond my wildest expectations. Customer Service Representative Mike DiBari personifies his title. He apologized for my previous experience and reassured me that Generation Kia’s only aim as a dealership is to completely satisfy their customers so that they will keep going back for their next car. Sales Manager Rich Palmieri listened intently to my wants and wishes and worked arduously to accommodate me. The dealership gave me a very generous buy-back of my 2012 Sorento SX. Then we negotiated a spectacular lease on a 2014 Sorento Limited. Furthermore, they went the extra mile to locate and acquire a hard to find color at an out of region dealership. Salesman Lou Genovese went above and beyond the call of duty to drive to Pennsylvania to bring back the car, missing opportunities for other sales during this time. Maybe my initial experience was a fluke or somebody was having a bad day. But the whole team, especially Rich and Lou, certainly fulfilled their mantra of making a completely satisfied customer out of me. More

This is the best Internet Dept and Dealership that I ever dealt with, Thanks to Mike and his manager Rich and Ray my salesman, I am driving a new Optima EX for a lot less then it would have cost me to drive dealt with, Thanks to Mike and his manager Rich and Ray my salesman, I am driving a new Optima EX for a lot less then it would have cost me to drive a used one. I started out looking for a used Optima, I rented one in Florida for a week and I fell in love with it. I never thought that I could afford a new one... When we worked out the payments on a used 2012 Optima it was too much and I had to give up my dream of owning an Optima. I just couldn't afford the monthly payment and I only had $1000 to put down and my junker trade...The payment was over $400 per month, I just couldn't swing it. I was driving my junker home and was very depressed, When my cell phone rang and it was Mike telling me that his manager Rich Palmeri wanted to speak with me, That he worked out a great deal for me on a New 2013 Optima EX and it was in my price range. He promised me that if I came right back he would guarantee me that I would drive home today in a NEW OPTIMA for under $300 per month! You will never guess what I did, Right!, I turned around to see what games they were going to play with me when I returned. But at that point I was depressed and had nothing to loose. When I got to the showroom Ray and his Internet Manager Rich were waiting for me with My new Optima ready for a test drive. Of course I fell in love with it right away. Now I'm thinking, They want me to fall in love with this car and then they will clobber me with the real price. When I got back to the dealership I sat with Rich the Internet manager, He explained to me that if I leased this car he could get my payment under $300 per month. I told him that I really did not want to lease, I wanted to own the car. But after he explained to me again the benefits of leasing, it made a lot of sense. I could get a new car every 3 years or I could buy my own car at the end of the lease and I would still get the complete 10 yr 100,000 mile warrantee, because I was the original owner. It made a lot of sense and I am now the proud owner of a New 2013 Optima EX Thanks to Generation Kia and their great Crew... Don't even waste your time at any other dealership other than Generation Kia... Thanks a whole bunch guy's... One Happy Guy, Joe P More
I can't believe the great service that I received at Generation KIA. It almost makes you want to come back soon... I would highly recommend Generation Kia to anyone thinking of purchasing a new Kia. I would also highly recommend asking for Mike Perillo as your sales person ! Mike is very knowledgeable, and has the "drive" to do a good job for any perspective buyer who walks into his showroom. I went to basically all the Kia dealers in Nassau and Suffolk. In fact I walked out of Revolution Kia after they tried to give me a line of bull. Only when walking into Generation, did I feel like that was the place that would get my business and not try to rip me off. Mike went way out of his way to get me into the Optima I wanted that very day. He did everything to make it happen, and went far beyond the call of a car salesman. I was very impressed with his ambition and accommodating ways. I told him right from the start I didn't want to experience any of the usual car salesperson nonsense...no lies, no hidden fees and none of that from his sales team either. Even the "dreaded" visit to the Financing office went well...without all that "last chance to rake the customer over" b.s. so many of us have experienced before. I was so impressed with Mike and Generation. So was my husband. In fact, 3 weeks later my husband purchased his Kia from them. Again, the deal went smooth and without any frustrating issues. So, we are two happy Kia owners who would recommend Generation and Mike to anyone and everyone. Don't waste your time at the other places...especially Revolution. Save time and money and go to Generation first. More
