Went there to have an oil change, tire rotation and recall. My appointment was at 8 am which the car was dropped off the night before. At 1120 am on the day of the appointment I called for the status recall. My appointment was at 8 am which the car was dropped off the night before. At 1120 am on the day of the appointment I called for the status. I was on hold for 20 minutes and they could not tell me what the status was. It appeared as if nothing had been completed based on my conversation with the call taker. I arrived there at 1230 and waited until 1:30 pm. At that time I inquired about the car status. The technician was “still working on it”. At 3:30 they told me my car was complete but requires thousands of dollars of additional work. I was able to speak with the technician who admitted the dealership’s system does not communicate with Hyundai. Since they had no history of my vehicle at that dealership, they automatically suggested the extra maintenance. It was apparent the technician did not physically look at what he suggested that needed to be done because some of the parts he said I needed are pretty new. None of these services should have taken this long particularly with an early morning appointment. More
