Our vehicle was having a lot of issues, but most of all the stutter of the motor. We have had this vehicle for a long time and has been a good one for sure. Just to let you know how much I dislike the customer service we have received with this service department, the free oil change you sent in the mail is going in trash. Live 80 miles out of town, and making an appointment is useless. Does nothing for you as I was informed by men taking vehicles in. Was told it was very busy, and it would probably be 3 hours till they could get it in. I explained that I had an appointment. He said all that did was let the cousterm know they were excepting cars. Some of the cars ahead were left for pickup at the end of the day. It didn't matter. My place in line was set when I got there. It didn't matter that unless I wanted to drive two vehicles, my wife and I would just have to set there. What's funny? I was running a little late, and I called to let them know. Bet they got a good laugh. The good thing is I live about the same distance from Abilene and the hyundai dealership there is not Genne Messer. They could not believe this story, and an appointment there is honored. I would like to know if the other Gene Messer dealerships service department works this way. Customer service reps are very nice. However the service technicians did not fill up the washer fluid after stating all things were correct.
