I took my vehicle in for service and was notified I needed rear tires. Was given a quote for the tires currently on my vehicle. When I went to pick it up, before I drove away I noticed they were not the needed rear tires. Was given a quote for the tires currently on my vehicle. When I went to pick it up, before I drove away I noticed they were not the same as the front or the ones I was quoted. I was not notified or told about this change at any time. I noticed it and brought it to their attention. I was told they didn’t have them. Then I requested for them to find the ones I have and after some searching 2 were located. I am disappointed with the lack of communication I received at this visit as well as multiple other visits with service and collision. I have given Gene Messer 3 years worth of chances to keep me and my family as a customers but we will likely take our business elsewhere. I did not and have not received the “world class customer service” Gene Messer prides itself on. More
I was looking for a specific vehicle. The minute they had one in their hands they called me. I was in and out in a few hours with a vehicle I dearly wanted and was hard to find. Communication is extremely poor from the service department. My truck was in this shop for ten days. I was told originally it would take two days to be diagnosed, then three, then it was a holiday department. My truck was in this shop for ten days. I was told originally it would take two days to be diagnosed, then three, then it was a holiday weekend. After a week, it was diagnosed. I was then told my truck was being worked on. It took FOUR days to change spark plugs because even though when I called to check on my truck and was told it was being worked, it wasn't being worked on. No one was calling me, I had to call daily to find out about my truck. Finally on day 9, the service writer called to explain that the technician had been working on another vehicle's, but was starting on my truck and it should be ready later that day. Nope. Got called the next day that my truck was ready. I understand delays. I do not understand no communication. I do not understand not returning phone calls. I do not understand not keeping the customer informed. I will be buying a King Ranch in 2024. I will NOT be buying from this dealership. I've had it with them. More
