Great service, very fast in and out. Super friendly each time I come in. And I appreciate that the service manager Mike Purser always comes and says hello and shakes my hand. My 2021 Bronco Sport started showing a low oil pressure warning after driving a few hours at the beginning of May. We left it where it died in Sweetwater for two weeks. When we got it back, I drove it fo warning after driving a few hours at the beginning of May. We left it where it died in Sweetwater for two weeks. When we got it back, I drove it for a few days when the issue happened again after a longer trip. I took it in to Gene Messer Ford where we bought it used with 13,000 miles on it one year, one month and a few days ago now. It was with the Gene Messer Ford Lubbock Service Department for 6 days with no resolution of the issue by our Service Technician, Service Advisor or the Service Director (Low Oil Pressure light comes on and reduces my speed automatically to basically nothing on the interstate-not exactly a safe vehicle for someone who travels long distances for work and recreation frequently). Because they have been unable to "recreate the issue" (took it out one time for long enough to possibly get the light to come on, and it didn't), they told me that there was nothing they could do for me until the light came on again. They know it happens because there are history codes when they hook it up to the computer; however, they have no way to help us fix the car we bought from them just a little over a year ago. They were willing to put my family and I in a vehicle they will lose oil pressure and lose acceleration without fixing the issue because "if we throwing parts at it and or start replacing things and I send your parts back as defective when they may not be, I'll lose money." Not only that, but when I picked my vehicle up with the unresolved issue, they had also cracked my windshield and didn't tell me about it. I saw it right after I drove off, called the Service Department right back, and they said they would fix it. I have been so disappointed with this whole situation. They were fine with us paying for a vehicle that we have been unable to drive for 3 out of the 4 weeks of a month without offering a rental, more than happy to have me lose money or drive an unreliable and unsafe vehicle and also damaged my vehicle while it was in their possession without telling me. I cannot believe that this is the way this dealership's service department has decided to handle these issue, and if it is Ford Corporate's policy that they are following...that's even worse! This was my family's first and last Ford. More
