Our family has done business with Langan since the 70's. I recently purchased a VW Passat 3.6L from a dealer in VA which offered an exceptional price and sales experience. I called Langan to purchase a sim I recently purchased a VW Passat 3.6L from a dealer in VA which offered an exceptional price and sales experience. I called Langan to purchase a similar car for a family member in CT and questioned why their cars were priced $2-3K higher than competitors. I explained that I travel frequently, have the cash in hand, know the cars, and want a seamless transaction for an elderly parent. The salesperson was neither knowledgeable nor able to discuss in an intelligent manner why Langan prices weren't realistic and they were unwilling to deal with me at all over the phone. VW holdback and incentives are the same for the entire region. I suspect Gene Jr. has changed selling approach and no longer cares about retaining loyal customers. This place is not what it used to be and I strongly discourage purchasing from this dealership. A terrible experience and if you want a no hassle, pleasant buying experience, I would shop around and save thousands over what Langan will offer. It is sad to see it but they have lost my family business and every other loyal VW customer I can contact. Terrible sales experience and a place not worthy of your business. More

My experiences with Abby Gagne, the assistant financial manager, were superb with Abby helpiong to work out an insurance glitch from my insurance company. Dennis then oriented me to the vehicle, even to the point of helping me through the computerized items with the sound/phone system. After my orientation, he introduced me to Gene Langan with whom I had an enlightening conversation about Volkswagens in the past. My first new car was a 1967 Volkswagen beetle. Had to bring my new GTI in for a service related issue. The guys were quick to take the car in and listen as I described the issue.
