The problem was with the transmission and the engine computer module was replaced and the car repaired. However, I was told if the ECM was not the problem I would need a new transmission and that I wou computer module was replaced and the car repaired. However, I was told if the ECM was not the problem I would need a new transmission and that I would still have to pay for the ECM. I suggest better diagnostic methods in the future. I came to Toyota for a solution and told frankly that it could be the ECM but if not it was the transmission. Not exactly a world class diagnosis. More
I’m giving it one star because the service was quick and the place is clean. But how is it that I get there and my maintenance light is not on and everything is ok with my car. then I get my car back and no the place is clean.
