Wonderful car buying experience! I walked into the dealership where sage greeted me right away. Sage was great! I was looking for a used truck. Sage showed me the options and was neve I walked into the dealership where sage greeted me right away. Sage was great! I was looking for a used truck. Sage showed me the options and was never pushy. The dealership didn’t have what I was looking for on the used lot. I was unable to make a deal that day, but sage left an impression on me through his positive attitude, willingness to work with me, and overall helpfulness. Sage must have kept working hard for me as several days later he was able to find me a vehicle that fit my requirements and price! The vehicle was new at that! Not a happy customer My fiancé and I went in mostly just to look around and get an idea of what’s available and weren’t necessarily planning to make a purchase that day. W My fiancé and I went in mostly just to look around and get an idea of what’s available and weren’t necessarily planning to make a purchase that day. We were greeted by several of the sales staff, as is the norm at most dealerships. Ultimately, we ended up working with Manny. My fiancé doesn’t have any experience buying vehicles, especially not brand new vehicles. That’s not what we were looking for to begin with. He asked what we were looking for and our budget- a decent used vehicle around $12,000-$13,000. My fiancé had just started a new job and wasn’t sure exactly what his income was going to be like. So Manny has us walk way out to a dirt area lined on both sides-new Jeeps on one side and used vehicles down the other and in the middle. So far so good. We see a couple of good prospects and indicate we might be interested in looking at them further. Manny agreed that they were good choices but didn’t have the keys to open them to find out their price. He talked non-stop about getting the financing then all of a sudden, he started talking about how we wouldn’t get anyone to finance a used vehicle in the amount we were looking for and that we should take a look at the brand new, shiny 2018 Jeep Renegades that he could get for less than the sticker price due to rebates, $5000 he said. My fiancé has never owned a new car before so he was hooked. Manny’s the perfect salesman. His biggest selling point was that since our credit wasn’t stellar, if we got this brand new $25,000 Jeep, my fiancé could drive it for “a few months” (which turned out to be 8-12 months later on) then trade it back in for something he really wanted when his credit was better. He’d already seen what he wanted in the dusty dirt area out back- big truck, small (ish) price. I told him we should look around a little more since there was another part of the same dealership not far away, where I’d bought my own car. But Manny was just too good and before I could blink, BOTH of our credit was run and I ended up the primary purchaser of a 2018 Jeep Renegade. The rebate was only $4000 and he was charged a ridiculous amount for the tag even though he already had a tag in his name in the system. when I asked the finance person about it, he made up some lame excuse and continued on. At one point my fiancé got up to use the facilities and I even said to Manny- “You can’t sell him that truck Manny- he can’t afford those $558 a month payments!” He said something like, “I haven’t done anything.” My fiancé came back right then and Manny continued as if I hadn’t said a word. So in the end, I feel like my fiancé was taken advantage of. Sure, he could have said no, but he had no idea what he was getting into. I’ll never go back there and I’ll never recommend the dealership to anyone again. I’ll never understand why salespeople will sell a vehicle to someone they know can’t afford it. I’m so mad that if it were possible to do so, I’d return the ugly red Jeep tomorrow. So much for a good experience. More
Went in with an idea of what I wanted, left with the dream. I pulled up to the dealership with the idea of checking out a new truck and maybe trading my car in. Manny Rodriguez walked right up to me and we got to work. Maybe a half hour later, I was test driving the truck and a few hours later, I pulled it off the lot and brought it home. I added some extra features that the truck didn't have, like tinted windows, a bed liner, leather seats. Manny walked me through everything, step by step, and was excellent in his communications back and forth over the next few days while I had the extras added in. Even though there was a slightly delayed experience due to the wrong items ordered, I was still happy overall. Manny is a busy guy but works his tail off to make you feel like you are his only customer and only concern. I'll be coming to see him for anything I need going forward More
