3 Days later I have a new to me car This was a very long process, and I appreciate the work that went into making it happen. 3 days were spent waiting for the finance people to work mira This was a very long process, and I appreciate the work that went into making it happen. 3 days were spent waiting for the finance people to work miracles and they really did. Don was very personable and did what he could to keep us comfortable while we waited and kept the ball rolling when we thought a deal couldn't be made. When all the stress and finances were said and done and I should have had my moment of happiness from being a new car owner - I was robbed of it. I was handed a pop-a-lock key with no programming or access to standard car features - locking doors, opening trunks or accessing the security system and told I would need to pay $100-150 extra to properly access these basic features. I was told by the car manufacturer this type of car key never should even have been made and should be put up for emergency use only. Obviously I can't do that, it was the only key given to me. I feel this information should have been disclosed from the beginning especially when there's A) cost factor involved and B) inability to use basic features of a vehicle properly without the proper tools. I left in my new car speechless. I get that keyless systems are a creature comfort we have become accustom to and it may sound like I'm whining a little, but these new cars and their programmed keys have become much more. An improperly programmed key or an un-programmable becomes an issue when it's incompatible with the engine/computer. There's no old-style trunk latch in this car, it's dependent on programming, the security system/panic button, I can't even manually lock the doors until everyone has shut their door because the key I don't have is programmed to lock in a certain sequence. This is tedious stuff I paid a lot of money for, I shouldn't have to deal with it. When I explained my disappointment about this not being disclosed to me and the cost I will incur to fix their error, I was told in summary that I was given "A Key", They're sorry it wasn't the right key but they wouldn't cover the price of the key at the price they sold the car for. I feel it's fair that people know to fine tooth comb over every detail of the car they are being, since such a simple feature can be a big disappointment when you're making an investment like this. More

He quickly showed us the Durango we had come there to see. Once we were sure that was the one we wanted we were treated very well during the negotiations on the price. I believe we got a fair deal. We were treated like friends instead of a fish on the hook by Jared and the sales manager Gary. What a beautiful location too. More
The only local dealership that wanted to sell me a car I looked at just about every car dealership in the Melbourne/Cocoa Beach area in search of a new SUV. Out of all these dealerships Gator Chrysler sal I looked at just about every car dealership in the Melbourne/Cocoa Beach area in search of a new SUV. Out of all these dealerships Gator Chrysler sales consultant Charlie Martineau is the only one to call me back with possible cars I might like. Most of the other sales consultants acted as if they could care less about showing me their vehicles. Charlie Martineau not only showed me every car on the lot that fit my parameters, he found the exact car that fit my needs, explained the difference in trim levels and helped me get a great deal on the purchase of my new 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee. From the sales to the finance team, every aspect of the purchase was efficient and stress free. I would definitely recommend Gator Chrysler to friends and family. More

After stopping at multiple dealerships and finding all they wanted was to push finance; We stumbled upon Gator on cars.com. As we pulled into their parking lot we were quickly and politely greeted by Stephen Gould. We explained our situation and he rapidly went into action taking our wants and needs into consideration. While the vehicle we were looking for wasn't on the initial lot Stephen lead us to Gators other lots so with him we could review the inventory. Thus landing us into a vehicle with more than we asked for And less than a price we expected upon seeing the vehicle. So what did we drive away with? A fully loaded 2007 Dodge Durango. Service department My only experience with this dealership has been the service department. Waiting times are terrible. It took me 5 weeks to get an appointment for a SA My only experience with this dealership has been the service department. Waiting times are terrible. It took me 5 weeks to get an appointment for a SAFETY recall issue. To top it off, when I brought my Ram in for a scheduled repair on my back up cam they didn't even start the service on the same day. I ended up having to drive home, after waiting 5 hours, in a rental and had to cancel my plans for the next day as well. They did get the truck "fixed" the next morning fairly early, however, it was only a partial fix. When I told the service person that the back up cam still was not working properly, I was told I would have to make yet another appointment, which would mean additional weeks of waiting. My neighbor had a similar problem with this dealership after his vehicIe had been damaged in an accident. He waited weeks for an appointment, then the repair took 5 days longer than promised. I contaced Chrysler's customer service center. The only thing they can offer is to place blame on the dealership and say they can't get involved with problems at the dealership level. Why does Chrysler even have a customer service center if they refuse to get involved in customer problems? My dealing with Chrysler and there dealerships in the past have been positve. This dealership, however, comes nowhere near that what I have come to expect over the years from Chrysler and the customer service policies don't really serve the customer anymore. The experience with the service department of this dealership and the inability or lack of willingness of Chrysler's customer service department to get actively involved will definitely impact my future car buying decisions and any recommendations I make to others. Sad what has become of one of America's dynasties that used to pride itself on their service. It's no wonder that Chrysler continues to slip in J.D. Powers consumer ratings polls. More
