My husband and I bought our first Subaru when we were living in Vermont. When we moved down here, we needed to get a bigger vehicle for our growing family...so we sadly traded our 2004 Imprezza Outback living in Vermont. When we moved down here, we needed to get a bigger vehicle for our growing family...so we sadly traded our 2004 Imprezza Outback Sport for a Dodge Journey (3rd row sold us). After about a year, we kept pretending that we were happy with this decision, but knew that we had to go back to Subaru. My husband and 3 year old son visited Crystal at Gateway Subaru on Thursday. He came home with a list of deals because Crystal took the time to listen and figure out that we needed: to save money, get a good used car and be happy with the decision. On Friday our family went back to Subaru to make the decision. Crystal was amazing with our son- getting him snacks and keeping him busy while we discussed "grown up" things. When it was time to sign the papers, Wendy was super easy to understand, efficient and personable. We drove home in our "new to us" Subaru Legacy Friday night. My boys were so happy and want to go back to visit Crystal and Wendy. We have known that we are a Subaru Family, but this experience at Gateway was the best we ever had. From now on, we will only be dealing with Gateway and all of my friends and extended family will be notified of this!! Thank you Crystal and Wendy--- you ladies are awesome!!!!! More

My experience with your dealership was made very wonderful because of Crystal Collins. My husband died on October 13, 2013 and my father -in-law came down from Philadelphia to help me to find a veh wonderful because of Crystal Collins. It was exausting going from one dealership to another, already in a depressed state I was really exausted, but my father-in-law asked if I was willing to see just one more vehicle, he said he spoke to a very nice woman named Crystal and felt as though before I made my decision we should atleast go and see the vehicle that she said she had. I had just gotten off work, I was tired and worn out but I felt I owed it to my father-in-law to atleast look at the vehicle because he said "Crystal" had really impressed him. My father-in-law does not impress easily. When we got to Gateway a gentlemen asked if he could help us and we told him we were there to see Crystal. Crystal appeared before us within seconds with enthusiasm, warmth and compassion and before I knew what was happening I was driving the most beautiful Cherry Red Jeep Patriot, which looked and felt brand new, not used at all. Well we immediately put down a deposit and then we financed the balance. It was after 5pm by this time so I wouldn't find out about the financing until the following day, Crystal called me and by 3:30 I was signing the paper work with Wendy (who is also so wonderful) and by 4:pm I was driving away with tears streaming down my face, happy tears, very very happy tears. I also really appreciate how he took the time to make sure I understood the primary features of the car before pulling off the lot. Wendy was equally fun to work with for getting great financing, and again, no pressure tactics or hard sales on the extra service agreements / warranties etc. One last point is this has to be the cleanest and most welcoming dealer I've ever been to. If I need dealer service, I am going back there for sure! More

After doing a lot of research, we decided to test drive a Subaru Forrester. When we walked into the dealership, no one accosted us at the front door. Instead, everyone we spoke to was friendly and helpful. Kyle took us for a test drive and instead of being a "salesperson" he was more of an information person. He pointed out things about the car that we didn't know & answered all of our questions. Most importantly, he encouraged us to test drive other makes and models of SUVs before we made a decision. NO PRESSURE AT ALL. When we decided to purchase the Forrester, we called Kyle because we felt he would be pleasant to deal with. My husband used several websites to determine what a "good" price would be for the vehicle. He called Kyle with the price we wanted to pay, along with the level and color of Forrester we wanted. Kyle had to find the vehicle we requested and quoted us an "excellent" price. Two days later we picked up our new Forrester. Crystal and Kyle sat with us and went over all of the features of the car and how to operate them. Crystal even paired our phones to Bluetooth. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone who hates to deal with car salesmen, doesn't want to overpay for a car, or just wants to have a pleasant car buying experience. More

We have purchased our first ever Subaru. We were not planning on a Subaru but decided to test drive one as our experince visiting other delaerships was not all that great. We were sold immediately. The experience in dealing with Crystal right from the get go was fabulous. She made us feel most comfortable in dealing with her and Gateway Subaru. She was not pushy in order to just sell us a vehicle. She wanted to make sure our experience was a great one and that we would be totally satisfied with our choice. Her knowledge of the Subaru vehicles is remarkable. We were very impressed. She was sincere, honest and at the same time excited about the Subaru vehicles and dealership. Purchasing our Forester was seamless. It was a pleasurable experience which I must say I never liked buying a new car before, until now and we thank Crystal for same. And then when it came down to completeing the paperwork, Wendy was wonderful. She made the entire experience painless. And the rest of the staff at Greatway would go out of their way to welcome us each time we came to Gateway. It did not matter if they were working with us directly or not. It feels not only like they are a 'team', rather a 'family' as well! It is for these reasons why we rated the dealership, Wendy and especially Crystal, all 5's. I contacted Gateway Subaru in Delmar to inquire about a vehicle I saw online. Brian Kang immediately contacted me and we scheduled a test drive of the vehicle for Wednesday, October 30, 2013. I received a call from Crystal Collins to confirm my appt. and I arrived around 5:30p.m. that evening. Brian, along with everyone I encountered was very friendly and helpful. After test driving the vehicle, Brian and I discussed pricing and came to an agreeable sales price. At that point, Crystal Collins took over my sale. She was very friendly and helpful, as well. She was very thorough, personable and made sure everything was in order for me to leave with my vehicle that evening. The financing and paperwork was handled by Drew, who was just as friendly and helpful as everyone else I experienced. I would definitely recommend this dealership to others and would suggest they contact Crystal for their needs. She will be someone I would enjoy working with again in the future my car needs. More
