I am very pleased with the 2005 Subaru Forester I purchased with the help of Kyle. I was in an accident and my car was a total loss which created a lot of stress. I live in the Baltimore area and went car shopping the following weekend and I did not get a good feeling from the salesman I encountered. Most of them were trying to rush me into buying a car even after I told them I was just looking around and trying to weigh my options. I found the used Forester on Gateway's lot and Kyle was very helpful. He took away all my stress and made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend doing business with Kyle and Gateway Subaru, I did not feel I was pushed into making a decision and he was very honest and open about the car I was interested in. More

Wendy the business manager was just as engaging as Crystal and she too knew her stuff. Andrew worked to give a fair trade in on our car and we were pleased. Susan the receptionist was equally a member of this fantastic team and greeted us warmly contributing to the overall "happy" environment. It is no exaggeration to say that we were very happy with our entire Gateway experience and would encourage all Delawarians that it is worth the trip to work with such a professional and fun dealership. And it didn't hurt that they are pet friendly!!!! More

Although it was not the first place I visited in shopping for a car, and although I did not buy a Subaru made vehical, it still provided by far the simplest, most welcoming, relaxed, and ultimately customer service oriented environment of any car dealership I have ever visited; it never felt like I was in a typical “shark-tank” dealership. ? The instant Magee Sheeler introduced herself I felt as if I was more than just a potential customer and another salesperson’s commission. I really liked that I was given the chance to identify what vehicles I was looking to inquire about, rather than steered to vehicles that were not of my taste (an event I dealt with more than once at previous dealers.) It strongly appealed to me that I was given the opportunity to test drive the vehicles I was interested in soon after walking in the doors and meeting Magee, who also seemed to genuinely match my enthusiasm and energy when I was exploring the cars’ varieties of features; it seemed as if she was equally excited and interested in the car and how it drove, not preoccupied by just “making the sale,” another unappealing experience I am not a stranger to. ?This was my first experience buying a car; that includes talking the numbers. It is an inherently intimidating process; however, Wendy Schiavone was able to make the entire financing process as easy to understand as our alphabet. She put all of the cards on the table when the time was appropriate and I always felt comfortable in conversation; primarily because Wendy made sure I was not in the dark about any aspect of the sale we were going over at the time. ?Customer satisfaction and image is clearly important to Subaru, and Gateway Subaru excelled in showing that effortlessly. If I had no idea aspects of business such as those were core, fundamental elements of Subaru, I would certainly be able to infer it after just my first day at the dealership. Magee and Wendy, (two of the sweetest people I have ever spoken to) side-by-side, made this first experience of buying a car for me one that I will brag about forever; and one that certainly characterized Subaru’s ideals. I will be recommending their business whenever the chance arises. More
Our son had purchaced a WRX from Steve several months ago and was very please with how he was treated at the dealership. When my wife was ready to look for another vehicle she thought she knew what she wante and was very please with how he was treated at the dealership. When my wife was ready to look for another vehicle she thought she knew what she wanted and asked to speak with the same saleman our son worked with. From the moment we arrived Steve introduced his self and he was told what she was looking for. She saw the color she wanted and we all went for a test drive. When we were back at the dealership we sat and waited for Steve and Wendy to crunch some numbers. They came back with figures that were acceptable and a purchase was made. This is by far one of the best experiences that we've both experienced when purchasing a vehicle. We were in and out of the dealership in under 4 hours. I normally dread walking into a car dealership and find it very stressful buying a car, but from the moment we walked into Gateway until we left, my husband & I had a wonderful experience. We spoke to Brian first and found him to be a super nice person, then we were introduced to Crystal. Crystal was the sweetest salesperson I've ever encountered in a car dealership and she actually made our car purchase a fun experience. She wasn't pushy at all and gave us all the answers we needed to know in deciding which car we wanted. Not only is she sweet and relaxed while talking to us, but she is so knowledgeable about cars. We will definitely refer our neighbors to Gateway and Crystal for their future car purchase. Thank you Crystal!!! We love our Outback!! More
I had been car shopping for a year, and this dealership was one of the first that I had visited to test drive a car with Kyle. I remembered him, because he was a nice normal guy. Not pushy, answered my questions, made me feel comfortable, and followed up. I told him when I first visited that when I found my car, I was going to buy it from him. For my second test drive go round, we took out 3 or 4 cars, and right in the middle of this, we got stuck in a very heavy downpour. Poor Kyle was drenched. I mean, he looked like he took a shower in his clothes. Eventually he dried off, and I ended up buying a car that day even though I wasn't planning in it. Wendy made the whole "signing on the dotted line" process super-easy, and fast! I am so happy, and am looking forward to visiting everyone to get my car serviced! More
Our experience in dealing with Gateway Subaru was outstanding. My husband requested a female salesperson when we entered the dealership -- and sure enough, the receptionist called one for us. A tall, dark-haired, attractive lady was there immediately; her name was Magee Sheeler! She cheerfully asked us about our car needs and what we might be interested in and then showed us around the showroom pointing out the strengths of the 2014 Subarus. My husband and I thought we might be interested in the Outback. After talking with us about various options and looking at what cars were "in stock", Magee brought a car to the front of the building for us to review. Magee went with us for the test drive relating various ideas about the Outback cars. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, easy to talk with, a good listener, a good sense of humor, very positive about the car and about life in general. She did not pressure us which we greatly appreciated. She was willing to find answers to anything she did not know -- but she had the answer for almost everything we asked her about the product! At the end of this visit my husband and I were not ready to commit to buying. My husband wanted a car with the many new safety features such as "eyesight" and assisted braking. Magee kept in touch with us by phone and by email. A few days later she invited us to see a 2014 Subaru Outback Special Appearance. We test drove it and fell in love with it. With help from Wendy Schiavone who was knowledgeable, friendly, easy to work with, and very positive, we now have bought the car on a wonderful payment plan with a very, very low interest rate. Magee excelled at her job and she created some very satisfied customers! More
Kyle was very professional and freindly. We told him we had a limited amount of time to shop and needed to be out with in two hours. He was very quick to respect that for us. They gave us a fair price on our trade in, Recieved a slight discount and a matinience of the transmission we asked for.We were out the door in the 2 hours we asked for. I would recommend Gateway to everyone! More
