Best buying experience I have ever had! I arrived at Gateway Subaru with the intention of purchasing a used vehicle. I was not 100% decided and asked the sales person Kevin Miller to show me I arrived at Gateway Subaru with the intention of purchasing a used vehicle. I was not 100% decided and asked the sales person Kevin Miller to show me a few other models to ensure I felt I was choosing the best vehicle for my needs. Kevin quickly obtained keys and tags and said lets test drive it. It was so not the typical dealer experience! My spouse then had us shift direction and look at a new 2016 Forester. Kevin maintained such a positive attitude and was consistently willing to do what ever he could to arrive at a deal we felt comfortable with. I received a strong offer for my trade in off the bat and negotiating the new vehicle price was reasonable and to the point. Upon deciding to purchase we worked with Steve on the financing. Steve stated he was new to this aspect of car sales but handled the paper work well and reviewed every number to ensure we were comfortable signing for our beautiful new Forester! This is my first Subaru and I will definitely go back to Gateway Subaru for my next car be it used or new! Thank You! More

But when I walked into the Gateway Subaru dealership on Monday I really had no idea what to expect. I actually spoke with Zach Nagler via e-mail two nights prior, in which he responded to my e-mail requests quickly. I had scheduled a time to come in and speak with him about trading in my Toyota Rav 4. I bought my Toyota over 2 years ago and it just wasn't something that I really wanted. I was hoping the car buying process this time around was smoother, faster ending with the result of a car I would be excited about. From the time my sister and I walked in we were greeted by several associates, who were kind and not overwhelming. A lot of times when you go into a dealership you can be bombarded, trying to get you to choose them as your salesperson, this dealership however wasn't the case. I came in having some sort of idea of what kind of car I wanted, but obviously I knew they would guide me in the right direction for a vehicle that was not only in my budget, but something I would end up loving! I know sometimes you may deal with difficult customers, which if I was I apologize. From Zach's knowledge about ALL the cars I made him look at with me, to Wendy's willing to work with my budget, to Renee taking the time to sit down with me and go over exactly everything a lease entails it was great! From the time I walked in the door to the time I left, there was never a time I felt overwhelmed. I appreciate everything everyone did for me. I will make sure I recommend your dealership to anyone who is looking to Buy or Lease a new car! More

Don Scullen provided a favorable quote via email, and after we made an in person deposit, kept us apprised of the status of our order - without us having to ask! That is excellent customer service! Renee Ennis and Wendy Schiavone were fabulous during the closing - again providing favorable quotes for the extended protection/warranties, which we added, as we expect this vehicle to be with us a long time. We would definitely recommend this team - and this car! Very happy! More
"A great experience" We identified the 2012 Outback 3.6 from the internet. Subaru's reputation is great and this Outback was loaded. Don Scullen called the next morning responding to my internet inquiry. We met that afternoon. The car was in excellent condition. The previous owner had taken very good care of it. The Outback had an excellent ride and that sealed the deal for me. Don worked through the trade and the details. Renee worked out great deals on financing and an extended warranty. Gateway has a great group of people that work in a comfortable atmosphere. By 7 pm I was driving home in the nicest car I have ever owned. Thanks to all. Chris and Beverly More
Stress-Free Negotiations I contacted Zach Nagler in search of a 2016 Subaru Outback 3.6R fully loaded, in Wilderness Green, a color that apparently isnt very popular - or is s I contacted Zach Nagler in search of a 2016 Subaru Outback 3.6R fully loaded, in Wilderness Green, a color that apparently isnt very popular - or is so popular no one has one. I presented my trade in, a 2014 Honda Ridgeline with very low mileage, test drove an Outback (with the smaller 2.5 engine) and a Legacy that had the 3.6R engine. He introduced me to Wendy, the sales manager (so nice to see a woman in that spot!) and I must say, it was the easiest car negotiation I believe I have ever encountered. Although I have not purchased a Subaru yet (see para #1 - scarce color and trim), so I cannot rate them on final price and quality of closing the deal, I feel confident that Wendy, Zach, and the rest of the team at Gateway would treat me ethically in regard to sales and service. Now if we can only find the Outback I want! More
