Was transferred to Steve, who talked to me for more than a half an hour about various aspects of different cars. Went in on a day when he wasn't working and dealt with Kevin, who was equally pleasant and knowledgable. Never felt rushed or pressured. Renee was great as well - got me in and out of the financing process quickly. At the end of the day, they gave me a nice trade-in amount for my existing Subaru and I just drove home in my 6th Subaru (or 7th - lost track at this point)! By far, the least stressful and easiest car purchase I've ever experienced. Everyone was genuinely nice and I would recommend Steve, Kevin, and Renee! More

we enjoyed our time spent with Zack on our 1st visit. Obn our 1st vist , Zack, our salesman, was polite, knowledgable and fun to deal with. We explained we were not ready to buy yet as we were selling a house and could not buy until settlement. He gave us a suggested figure for the car we wanted and let us test drive it. We told him we would be back. After we settled we went back with a figure from another dealer and he beat it. We enjoyed dealing with Zack. We signed the deal. When he was able to find our car over the weekend, we went right down ( 3 1/2 hour drive) to get the car from him. He even came in on his day off to complete our deal and spent 2 hours detailing how to work all the new, to us, instraments on the new car. What a pleasureable experience. We wish we could have our service done at your dealership. But we live 140 miles away now. We thank all th e employees we delt with at Gateway for their time and a wonderful car buying experience. We chose the Outback and he was able to negotiate an excellent deal for us with all of the options we wanted at a price we could afford. The dealership has gone out of its way to make this a wonderful experience. This is very unlike some experiences we've had at other dealerships here on the Delmarva while we were looking to replace our car that has been totaled. I highly recommend Gateway Subaru. More
The BEST Subaru dealership I've ever worked with! I went into Gateway knowing exactly what I wanted and knew I would have to order it. They offered to just order if for me but I wanted to meet the peo I went into Gateway knowing exactly what I wanted and knew I would have to order it. They offered to just order if for me but I wanted to meet the people that I would be dealing with so I made the trip down from central Delaware to Gateway. I met with Don Scullen, he is very friendly, knowledgeable and gave me the best deal hands down. I didn't even feel the need to negotiate the initial price I was given. I waited for my car since it was custom ordered and I was kept informed throughout the entire process. I was very pleased with the overall experience at Gateway Subaru, I think it is great that they support local car enthusiasts and as long as I'm in this area there is no other Subaru dealership that will be getting any business from us. If you live within a couple hundred miles of Gateway and you're looking at a Subaru, make the drive! You'll be glad you did! More

Buying in a hurry Our 2011 Outback was totaled in an accident. We wanted to replace our 2011 with a new 2016 3.6 Outback with all the new safety features. We live in central NJ and soon found out that a 3.6 is hard to find. Buying a car in a hurry is very stressful! We missed out on a car at a dealership closer to us, but through exhaustive Internet search, we found a match at Gateway, which is 3.5 hours from our home. Jim Stein, our sales rep, plus the Gateway's management team (Brian and Renee) honored the quote from the other dealership and expedited the purchase via phone and email. They were very efficient and very pleasant to work with. We are extremely satisfied with our experience. If we lived closer, there is no doubt we would service our car there. Who knows? We might get rid of our Audi and come back to Gateway in the future! More
