Easiest used car buying experience I've ever encountered. This is her son Joseph Kane. Mom is not technology literate. Mom's Oldsmobile was just not worth dumping any more money into. Moms old car had 204,000 unloved miles on the poor thing. Unfortunately this forced us to go car hunting. This is something most people dread, as do my mother and I. Zachary Nagler is a friend of mine that happen to work at this dealership. This did not sway me to this dealership. Found the car we purchased on Cars.Com. Car she purchased is a 2012 Ford taurus, preowned of coarse. Mr. Nagler guided my mom through her FIRST real car purchased and financing a car for the FIRST time in her life. Mr. Nagler explained the whole process. Mom has never been through this process before. He was so polite and professional. Explaining evertthing that was happening in great detail. My mother could not be any happier with this purchase and the piece of mind she bought a the RIGHT car for her. From the RIGHT person. From the RIGHT dealership. As we pulled into the dealer lot and began to look at cars, Steve Wer My wife, JoAnne and I recently purchased a Subaru Forester from Gateway Subaru. As we pulled into the dealer lot and began to look at cars, Steve Wergin came outside and introduced himself to us. That turned out to be the best part of our car buying experience. Steve was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions about the various options available. He listened to what was important to us in a Forester and then took us for a test drive. We just moved to Delaware about 3 weeks ago and my wife was not comfortable with driving on roads that she was not familiar with. Turns out that Steve lived just a couple of miles away and offered to pick us up at our home and drive us to the dealership so that my wife would not have to drive our other car home alone. That was well above and beyond the call of duty. Once all was agreed upon, we met with Renee Ennis to finalize and sign all of the paperwork. Renee made it very easy to understand the various options and programs available with the financing and maintenance/protection of our vehicle. She explained every form we signed to be sure that we understood and were comfortable with everything. She was a pleasure to deal with as well. We researched further on the internet about the Forester, while including the Honda CRV & Rav4 to our list for safety, roominess & expanded clear vision when looking out the back window (I know a backup camera is included but I am intimidated by it now but will learn). The Subaru Forester won-Honda CRV and Rav4 less knee room for the passenger, cost more; and the Honda dealership management person was to me obnoxious while the salesperson was not. Gateway Subaru Dealership clearly won this one, having a great car along with courteous personable representatives such as, Kevin Miller, Wendy, & Renee. Also, I must add, that Kevin explained & showed us the workings of everything in the car. He even did the bluetooth connection with my iPhone. How wonderful was that! He also gave an open invitation to call anytime with any questions or help! Oh, yes, first impressions make a winner and Gateway Subaru has a winning team! More

No pressure throughout the buying experience I was looking for a used car for my daughter for her senior year of high school, we went on a Sunday to scout out potential vehicles. We found one. On Wednesday afternoon , I went there to discuss with a salesperson, (Don Scullen) and my daughter came down to look at the car. We found out she was to short for it. Don then showed us another vehicle, a crossover SUV, my wife and I wanted safety as the most important feature, we found that vehicle. We went in and started talking about what I wanted to spend and I really couldn't go above. I said I had to leave for work and he said ok, and I left. He didn't pressure me to stay or get my phone number and that was that. I came back the next day after doing research that night before (Kelley Blue Book) and we worked on the deal. Two times with him and the sales manager and we got it done, once again, no pressure. Drove off the lot in two hours all done, the best buying experience for me ever. More

Their price beat the price I was quoted at the Subaru dealer in Dover, DE and I didn't have to deal with pushy or obnoxious management personnel as I did at Dover Subaru and Hertrich Toyota. Jim explained all the different features of this car and made the buying process so much easier than I would have expected! I love this vehicle more every day! But from my first contact with Kyle Hutchins at Gateway Subaru, which was when I called the dealership about a used Outback they had listed on their website, I was put at ease. When I went in the next day to meet him in person and test drive a couple of cars, it was a very friendly atmosphere. Laid back, no pressure. He really listened to what I needed, and the limitations I had to work around. I couldn't be happier with the car I bought, or the terms provided by Gateway, or the outstanding customer relations. Kyle did an outstanding job, and I will definitely recommend him to any of my friends looking for a Subaru! More
