One of the best buying experiences ever! We have purchased a lot of cars over time and the experience at Gateway was OUTSTANDING! There was absolutely no pressure. He took his time with us, knew his product inside and out and was completely honest! We could not believe he had only been in car sales for a month. He was a pro! He got us a written price quote that he actually allowed us to take with us to shop. We found better price online and Jeff came back and beat that price! We returned to purchase and were driving out of the dealership in 90 minutes! We would highly recommend Gateway and Jeff Little!! More
Finally found the one My son researched the exact car he wanted. He sold his car ahead of time, received cash and was ready to buy. After going to Apple Ford in Columbia and Academy Ford in Laurel for the new car search,{because of the many new car incentives} with cash in hand and financing set and ready, as we suspected the constant bait and switch was alive and well. Saying one thing, and once arriving at the dealership, adding another deal. Adding a "scratch/dent" option for $995.00. Then at the last minute, once we could not get the numbers correct, they said "oh, we can eliminate the scratch/dent option". But the numbers still did not work in my sons monthly payment. It should not be that difficult. $4500.00 in cash, $230.00 month for 72 months. After talking with Lance at Gateway, it was clear this was gone to be different. We are from Catonsville, Gateway is in Salisbury. 2 hours away. The deal was worked out over the phone, and we set off on a 2 hour journey. What a surprise, when we arrived it was 16 degrees, the car was inside and warm. The paperwork was completed and all correct. No surprises, no extra's. I will let my friends and family know that it is worth the drive to Salisbury, MD. Great people, and fantastic service. As a father, when your kids put as much effort into something, and they accomplish their task, it makes you very happy. Thanks to Lance, Zach, Jeff. You guys are the best. Just What I Wanted I knew I wanted another Subaru Forester - after 15 yrs & 205k miles! But with so many levels and options - I reviewed and priced them all on Edmunds. I knew I wanted another Subaru Forester - after 15 yrs & 205k miles! But with so many levels and options - I reviewed and priced them all on Edmunds.com to arrive at exactly what I wanted (or more to the point what I didn't want - a bunch of bells and whistles.) I had a price quote from Edmunds.com which was better than the other 3 dealerships I was considering (MD & 2in DE) and they had what I wanted in the color I wanted. But the clincher was they offered me a trade in value which surpassed Edmunds estimate and even mine. My salesman, Kyle, was wonderful. I didn't feel like I was being pressured and he was very pleasant. After a couple of hours I went home with a new car. Hope I live long enough to enjoy the next 205k miles! I haven't had any service done yet so can't comment on that aspect of the Dealership. More

Between our salesman Nicolas Machado and the service manager Kris, all of our previous issues were resolved and it took very little time to complete financing arrangement and be on our way with another (our 2nd) Outback. Worth the trip In the fall of this year my wife and I purchased a 1 yr old Subaru Legacy from Gateway. We already owned a 2015 Subaru Outback wagon and loved it. In the fall of this year my wife and I purchased a 1 yr old Subaru Legacy from Gateway. We already owned a 2015 Subaru Outback wagon and loved it. I wanted a particular car with all the bells and whistles plus the six cylinder engine, hard to find used. A search of the internet resulted in just the right car with very low mileage at Gateway Subaru. This was going to be a long distance purchase, since we live in South Carolina. My sales person was Steve, who was always prompt to return calls, and provide all the information I asked for, to the point of even taking a video of the car so I could get a good feel for the car. It took a while for my wife and I to be able to arrange our schedules to make the rip up to Gateway to pick the car up. I will say that the manager was very flexible, and held the car for us.. When we arrived at Gateway we were surprised at how large the dealership was, and how modern it was. To a person the entire staff seemed to all work together. The car was waiting for us, and detailed wonderfully. We dealt with Zach for the paperwork, ( we had our own loan so no need for that ), but Zach did offer the best deal I have gotten on the seven year extended warranty. So we took it. The cost of the trip to get the car was well worth it. Gateways price for a above average car, that was top shelf, was the best on the east coast. I would not hesitate going back to Gateway in the future. FYI: So called dealer “doc” fees have reached the level of ridiculous in many parts of the country. Gateways “doc” fees were reasonable as compared to many other dealers. Lance L More

I was completely new to the car-buying experience, but Jim took his time to let me test drive the car, show me it's features and answer all my questions (even though the dealership was officially closed for the night by this time). He and Zach Nagler were SUPER helpful with my car-buying/financing needs. I would recommend them both any time to my friends and family. They made my first trade an enjoyable experience. I can't say I have seen service like that at a dealership in my life. Good job, Jim and Zach! More

Everyone we spoke to reflected the overall feeling we had when we entered the showroom; professionalism and confidence to make sure the customer is completely satisfied. The building is well maintained and clean and it is obvious that the employees take pride in working there. From the time you drive on the lot you are treated with respect and a genuine concern that you have the best experience possible when making a large purchase. More

A few days later I returned with my husband and we purchased an Outback Limited. This is our 5th Subaru and we still have one that is 20 years old with 170,000 plus miles on it. It still runs very well All the personnel that we interacted with Steve, Zach Nagler, and Wendy Schiavone were attentive, personable, knowledgeable, and courteous. There was never any pressure. Buying this vehicle proved to be a very gratifying experience.
