Excuses and the Run Around I purchased a "certified" pre owned subaru from gateway and immediately after driving off the lot I experienced transmission issues. After returning I purchased a "certified" pre owned subaru from gateway and immediately after driving off the lot I experienced transmission issues. After returning to the dealer they told me the grinding was normal and that they wouldn't cover it regularly but under a "goodwill" as though I was at fault. After many painful hours of lies from the dealer I finally just purchased a Brand New Subaru at the expense. A lesson well learned not to buy "certified" from Gateway Subaru. More

Was making a trip to Annapolis (90 min. away) and soon after, the engine light comes on.....again. What started out as a bad day ended up a great one. Was making a trip to Annapolis (90 min. away) and soon after, the engine light comes on.....again. After sinking several thousands of dollars into the old girl, this was it. Missed the appt., put the car in the shop again for the 2 times in 3 weeks, and started looking for a new vehicle. Saw some good cars, but the price was just more than I was comfortable with. Then, my wife said "lets see what they have at Gateway Subaru." "Ah, good idea", I think to myself. Not 3 minutes later, BOOM, there is exactly what I want, and more, for a price 5k less than my other choices. Went down there and Nicolas came out to meet us in the rain, after a quick look over (had already gone over the many pictures on their website, took it for a test drive. Fantastic car! Traded in the "ole girl", gave us more than expected and gave us a great price that fit our budget perfectly. Had to wait for a little bit, and Brian gave us a set of headphone (made by Harmon/Kardon) for the wait. I have nothing but excellent things to say for the entire process, and the staff was amazing!!!! Thank you Gateway Subaru!! More
