Excellent Customer Service My husband and I purchased a Subaru Impreza today. Don Scullen was our Sales Representative and Zachary Nagler was the Finance Repesentative. This was My husband and I purchased a Subaru Impreza today. Don Scullen was our Sales Representative and Zachary Nagler was the Finance Repesentative. This was our 2nd Subaru purchased and this was a much quicker, informative and non stressful experience. The 1st purchase was at a different dealership. Mr. Scullen was very knowledgeable about all the cars Subaru offered. He went out to our new car and showed us how all the buttons and whistles worked. This helped us be more at ease with the new car. I would recommend requesting him if you are interested in buying a Subaru! Mr. Nagler was very friendly and quick in finishing our paperwork. He and Mr. Scullen are an asset to Gateway. I would recommend Gateway for anyone wanting to purchase a new car. We will be going back when we are ready for our next car. More

Both my husband and I have been previous Subaru owners so we knew what we wanted. It was my husband's idea to purchase new since our current vehicles were each ten years old. My husband has a terminal illness, and he wanted to make sure I would have something trustworthy after he was gone. He mentioned this to Kevin upon our purchase. Kevin's compassion was heartfelt and greatly needed. Both my husband and I want to thank Kevin, Zach and Wendy for making it an easy and pleasant experience especially given the circumstances. Best Place to Buy a Subaru - Gateway in Delmar! I have dealt with all the Subaru dealerships in Delaware and Delmar over the last 3 years - either buying and/or having my car serviced. When I decid I have dealt with all the Subaru dealerships in Delaware and Delmar over the last 3 years - either buying and/or having my car serviced. When I decided to buy a new car, I was actually looking at Mazdas (a BIG departure since I have only ever bought Subaru cars). I visited CarMax in Salisbury on a Saturday evening to get an appraisal for my car, then went to dinner. Over dinner, I talked about how I should at least look at the Subarus. I decided to call Gateway Subaru to see when they closed for the night. I spoke to Lance Culver who said they would be closing in about 20 minutes. I told him I didn't think we could make it but I might drop by. About 25+ minutes later, I figured I would just drive by and look at the cars on the lot, but Lance was still there. He happily showed me several cars, gave me his card, some brochures, and told me to call anytime if I had any questions or wanted to test drive a car (I only sat in the cars, as it was getting late and I had to go). I set up my Mazda test drive and then called Lance to set up a test drive for a Subaru too. These test drives were both based on really good prices I got from both dealerships. I drove the Mazda 3 (both the sedan and hatchback) and the CX-3. I originally was looking at the Subaru Impreza sedan and hatchback, but then I looked at the Legacy and figured out it was more in line with the fully loaded Forester I was going to be trading in, so that is what I drove. I fell in love with the car, and Lance made sure that I got everything I wanted, at a price I could manage. His manager (Wendy Schiavone), was incredible too. She fully supported Lance in ensuring that I was a happy camper and personally made sure that I got the car I wanted (one that she drives, by the way). I look forward to having my car serviced at Gateway too (if you buy a maintenance package with the car, your maintenance costs will be covered and you won't have to pay MD tax - a benefit to a DE resident ;^) Go visit Gateway and you won't be disappointed - great cars and great staff! We were quite impressed when we mentioned to Lance and Wendy the names of two families who had made purchases from Gateway. They both remembered the families, knew them by their guest names, and shared little bits of info about them. They aren't kidding when they claim to give personal attention to their customers. We will most definitely recommend Gateway and Lance and return in the future! More

There is always a fear of being attacked when you step foot onto a car lot and when we looked at the Impala the doors were unlocked and we checked it out and even tried our kids car seats in it before WE had to go in and ask for a sales person. Jim provided great info while test driving, car fax, and pricing info. We needed to get the car to the price we could afford and Jim helped us get it there. He even made sure the shop put in a NEW battery because the car needed to be jumped and after hearing we had 3 kids he did not want that to be an issue we worried about! Thanks for breaking the stereotype Jim! More
