We dealt mainly with Janet Beyer through most of the process. She answered all our questions and allowed us to look at and drive the vehicles we chose without any pressure. When we settled on the Ascent, she explained the options that we wanted and arranged for settlement a few days later where we saw the final product. She gave us a good review on how to operate the car. We will be able to return in a few weeks to take advantage of Subaru's Love-Encore program where our questions about the features will be answered and the technology explain in more detail....Jeff Little handled the final financing papers for us. Change my screen name to Second Time Buyer. Bought my 2nd Crosstrek in a little over 4 years. This time I was in a position to buy a fully loaded one. Can't say enough good things about Kevin Miller, h 2nd Crosstrek in a little over 4 years. This time I was in a position to buy a fully loaded one. Can't say enough good things about Kevin Miller, he was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I would buy from him again (in fact my spouse did, too!). Kids are older now and we wanted to move into a medium sized AWD SUV. Stopped at Gateway on the way home from test driving a Honda Pilot (yawn) and were greeted by salesman Shawn Edler. We test drove the Ascent and the Outback. We decided to purchase the Ascent, mainly because it was larger. Both were great drivers. This was our first ever Subaru. We returned to Gateway and dealt with Shawn and manager Jeff Little on the purchase. Between the test drives and the purchase, Shawn and I were back and forth on email and he was very responsive. Quick to answer and knowledgible. There was never a pressure to buy and we returned a second time to test drive the Ascent again with Shawn. Again, no pressure and fielded all questions. Again very knowledgeable. With all of the car evaluation sites on the internet, it's not hard to figure out a price to go into a dealership with that is fair to both parties. Shawn's first presentation on price was fair which resulted in only one counter offer, which we agreed upon. Again, no pressure. Managner Jeff Little, presented options for extended warranties and protection in a straight forward manner but again no pressure when we declined. After completing the paperwork, we returned to our new vehicle and Shawn spent over an hour and a half going over all the details of our new Ascent. He knew every system on the car and there are alot of safety systems. We are happy with our new car and our new found dealership and would highly recommend Gateway and Shawn Edler to anyone. More
