I had to jump-started it like before. Called the service department, and he said he would have George, the service advisor, get back to me on Monday. I knew they didn't fix the problem. I did my own research. It seems like online googling has more knowledge than their trained technicians. Wasted my 3 and half hours time yesterday sitting in the waiting area. This is unacceptable! This is a lemon car. --end of update---- I thought 3rd dealership was a charm, but obviously not. I called in 3 weeks ahead to schedule my repair. My ev6 with less than 20k mile needs jumped start every single time when I want to drive it. For some reason, the 12v battery won't take any charge. Brought my car here, no loaner, no exact time it needs for repair, waited freaking 3 and half hours, then tell me the car won't charge itself because of bunch error codes. we had erased all the codes, charged your battery, and you're good to go. xxx, that needs 3 and a half hours to do. Car has those codes because of faults with the car to begin with. Kia is a piece of junk. Every kia dealership I went to has a whole role of ev6s with a markup of $4000 sitting in the lot. I'm the only one stupid enough to buy kia for an experiment. They can't even fix the car they make, especially evs. Listen folks, kia sucks. Services, showrooms, last but not least, their own cars. The sales people are liars. They'll get you to lease a car and tell you at the end You can buy it for 15000 but in reality when you go to buy your lease they Jack the price up They'll get you to lease a car and tell you at the end You can buy it for 15000 but in reality when you go to buy your lease they Jack the price up and say oh we can't be held at any verbal commitment. Never again will I go there. Disgraceful More
Wow, the old car dealer stereotype is still alive and well!! Tried to sell me on a 'lease to own' at 0% financing. First, salesperson told me that it's 'illegal' to offer less than 5% financing unless it well!! Tried to sell me on a 'lease to own' at 0% financing. First, salesperson told me that it's 'illegal' to offer less than 5% financing unless it's a lease, though I've already seen 3 commercials today offering 2.9% for a sale, including from KIA!! Next, after making a 'gentlemans agreement' with the finance guy for $22,500 "out the door" with a set payment of $392, the numbers came back with me paying a total of $19,200 over 4 years with 0% financing, and then still having a 'residual' of $10,700 left to pay off at the end.! Go ahead, do the math--that would be paying almost $30,000 for a car that was promised for $22,500 TOTAL. Real 'gentleman' I was dealing with. Gateway Kia are a bunch of crooks, Especially the finance guy who actually acted Upset at ME for calling him out and stopping the deal. I absolutely suggest staying away! More
I’ve been reaching out to all the Kia dealerships within 2 hours of me looking for a specific car. Kayla was awesome to deal with and a great help in confirming the car I’m looking for was on location! Then 2 hours of me looking for a specific car. Kayla was awesome to deal with and a great help in confirming the car I’m looking for was on location! Then I was transferred to Alex for the sales process and the whole experience ended in a disappointing 30 seconds. He asked when I could come and I said I could be there the next day. Then when I asked about the price he quoted me 10K over MSRP. He said I should be getting a lot for my totaled car so he couldn’t give me a deal. Assumptions are always so helpful. I said I’m not looking to pay that much over MSRP and then he said good luck with that and hung up. Easily the rudest, cockiest, and most arrogant salesperson I’ve had the pleasure of speaking with thus far. Thanks, Alex! P.S. I reserved my K5 with a different dealership at MSRP. More
