I’m extremely disappointed with the service at Gateway. My transmission needed repair and was told it would take 15 days. However, it ended up taking over six weeks to complete the work. To make it matters worse, I discovered the actual repair only took seven hours! The lack of transparency throughout the process was frustrating. I had to constantly follow up for updates. I expected a Gateway to handle repairs efficiently and professionally, but this experience has left me questioning their competence and commitment to customer satisfaction. More
Poor communication, don’t have a fix just a reset which has been done before-2 months prior, had my car from appointment day until they actually looked at it for 3 weeks-it was safe to drive and on many o has been done before-2 months prior, had my car from appointment day until they actually looked at it for 3 weeks-it was safe to drive and on many occasion I asked-since I was using uber, if I could use it and I could bring it back within a few hours when they were “actually “ ready to look at it-they said it just has to sit in their property or I lose my place in line, foul smell inside when I picked up my dirty truck-was a takeout bag with a left steak- I thought something died. Not sure how no one noticed. Also on my last call to get an update I was told another few weeks so I said I’d come pick it up and take it to a different dealership and I got a call back that it would be looked at the next day??? Finally the only way to actually speak with someone in service was to call sales first. Usually even that didn’t work. Yes and asking for a manager didn’t help. More

Service kept our truck for over 3 months our 1-year-old truck needed a new engine, new battery, new starter and a new catalytic converter. When we called to check on it the service manager was extremely r truck needed a new engine, new battery, new starter and a new catalytic converter. When we called to check on it the service manager was extremely rude to us and told us that they concentrated on the vehicles for preferred customers first. We have bought our last three trucks from gateway, but I guess that isn't enough. I called thee general manager and left messages 3 times, and he never called me back. The customer service at this dealership is awful. When we first took it in they said they would not even look at it for 6 to 8 days and when we asked why the service manager told us we could always have it towed to another dealership if that wasn't good enough for us. Our service advisor Cody tried to keep us updated but he wasn't being given the information in a timely manner. We almost didn't purchase from this dealership because we have had issues with the service department in the past but was told it was getting better IT IS NOT BETTER if anything it is worse. We actually called Don Cummings, sales manager and he was able to get us more answers than the service department did More

My 2025 Traverse driver door was damaged while in the service department. My vehicle was in the shop for approximately 30 days, when i finally had it returned, the driver side does not lock. Told me service would be a 3-1/2 hour wait which is already a lot on a Monday. I then waited 8 hours all I got was a sorry and 10$ off. My day was wasted.
