I noticed he was well groomed and had great people skills which made my visit very comfortable. I had been searching for a truck for years, and had recently been to several dealerships. After visiting so many dealerships, I was being worn down by aggressive sales people trying to sell me vehicles I did not really want and not being willing to budge on the price for a vehicle I wanted. Then, I saw the truck I wanted on Gateway's website, and I reached out through the website. Howard contacted me and told me that although he was not sure he could give me the deal I requested on-line, he thought he could get really close. After dealing with so many other dealers, I was discouraged at this response, because I had heard similar responses before, only to be pushed to spend much more money or drive a different vehicle once I arrived at other dealers. I asked Howard to send me a breakdown of the price, and he sent all of the details right away, from his screen and not from a quickly-created document that could more easily be modified. I was out of town, so we set up an appointment for a few days later. When I arrived, Howard took care of me with first-class service. I asked for serious discounts, and he gave me what he could, which was very close to what I was looking for. He was professional throughout the experience. If you want to go somewhere without getting the run-around, I recommend going to Gateway and asking for Howard. More
