They don't seem to understand, or care, that my budget was firm and i shouldn't have spent more than planned for. More
Warranty disappointment I purchased my 2015 Colorado in May 2015. It has been an excellent vehicle. Like all machines, it eventually needed a repair. The battery leaked and d I purchased my 2015 Colorado in May 2015. It has been an excellent vehicle. Like all machines, it eventually needed a repair. The battery leaked and damaged a battery cable. The cost for this service was about $800.00. I was glad that I had the extended warranty, or so I thought. At the time I purchased the truck, the salesman and the closing agent told me that the warranty was bumper to bumper and covered most things for five years. Not true. (I believed them because that is how it worked on most vehicles I have purchased.) I wish that I had stopped the sales processed and challenged the extended warranty. $4000.00 is a lot to spend on something that won't do what is promised. I am grateful to Neo and the others who worked to do their best for me. Apparently Chevrolet no loner provides factory warranties, only third party. Not much could be done. I appreciate their efforts. Had I been told the truth about the warranty, I might have spent that four thousand dollars on a higher trim level or accessories. The employees whom I worked with were gone from the dealership shortly after I bought the vehicle. So the only thing left is the lesson. Telling the customer the truth is always best for everyone. We took a test drive on a new Cruze. I asked Alex if they had any good used cars. He took us to see a 2017 Cruze it looked like new, only 16000 miles. We drove it. The car sold itself. Alex did a good job the numbers down to where I like them and that was it. Great job Alex and thank you very much. More
