I had an amazing experience with Michael C. our Salesman. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and went the extra mile to meet our needs for a new vehicle, from our trade in, finance te our Salesman. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and went the extra mile to meet our needs for a new vehicle, from our trade in, finance terms, receiving a great rate etc. Our review would have been a 5 star rating, but things didn't go so well where finance was concerned. When closing, you meet with a person to get all your ducks in a row with payments etc....the bank stuff, but, they attempt to sell you more stuff, ie; maintenance, extra keys, ding and sent coverage etc. I made it clear from the start, I didn't want to add any of that, because my payment was already a little more than what I wanted. Ronnie asked me if he gave me 3 of the additional protection features without my payment going up, would I take it? I said " of course", but didn't sign anything at that point( I had already signed every else). When Michael came to our home( which was awesome) to have my husband sign all his portions, Ronnie had put paperwork in the stack regarding those 3 extra items.s I thought we were receiving at no charge. We did t get a copy of our original paperwork until I called my salesman and asked about it. He thought we had already been given it in finance the day I bought our car. That's when I saw the extra charges for the Portfolio Protection. I called Ronnie in finance, and was.tild " nothing is free", which, is true, but that's not how he worded the offer to me. Overall, my experience with Gateway Chevy was great, our car was delivered to us at home, Michael our Salesman is your go to for any vehicles there in my opinion.....just watch out for the financing department. If definitely go back! More
