I'd love to talk to the technician that took 5 minutes to look at my car and said I needed a new engine and that a used one would be $5,700. No further explanation. I took it to my uncle and he put in a new look at my car and said I needed a new engine and that a used one would be $5,700. No further explanation. I took it to my uncle and he put in a new alternator for 300$. Now it runs, good as new. I will never give Gates my business again. If you didn't want to look at my car just say that. I say that bc at first I was told it would be half a week before someone could look at it, which I was fine with. Then 8:30am that 1st morning I get a call. The sound is coming from the engine, it needs replaced period. Ridiculous. More

They have always treated me well. My 2014 Toyota Avalon had a dead battery and Gates called a tow truck to tow my car to Gates in Granger. It all starts and ends with the attention to detail. This is a body shop that I gave my vehicle to repair, to the condition it was in, prior to the accident caused by someone else. Not only does the quarter panel look like it is rippled more than a potato chip, it took 4 attempts to get out of the lot, when I picked the truck up.
