I went to Gates Nissan to test drive a Toyota and left with a Nissan Rogue. I was truly happy with My salesperson who assisted me in finding the right vehicle for me. The experience was very seamless in finding a car. Once the car was found things got a bit more uneasy. First, I had informed them that I was already preapproved with a loan from my bank but they told me that I still needed to apply for financing through them in order to get the loan with my bank. I believe that this was BS. I used to work for a company that made money off of making people apply for store credit cards. It did not matter if the person was approved for the credit card only that the store got an application through. This is why I think they just wanted to hit my credit one more time so that they can make a profit off of my application. Second, I feel that the Finance manager was not looking out for my best interest. He made us wait for almost an hour only to tell us that there were additional options that were totally voluntary. When I declined all the options (which would have increased the total cost) he became very rude. He tried to force me to get the maintenance package and when I told him I knew someone he insulted us by stating that "my friend would not be able to maintain my car" This was rude because my friend is a real mechanic who services cars for a living. He is not just some random joe. I honestly felt a bit disturbed with the fact that he became rude after I declined the options which were clearly a sales tactic to add thousands of dollars to my loan. I am extremely satisfied with the salesperson and with my selection of vehicle I drove out in. I just hate that when it came time for the finance portion, the finance manager was unprofessional and rude. More

My daughter and I met Dwight O’Neal, (in Sales),who went over my “Would like on the car list”, and my price range...They brought a snazzy little 2019 Red Nissan Versa SV up to the door for me to try. We took it for a test drive, and I drove it back and bought it on the spot! Didn’t even need to try another, It was perfect for me.....we filled out all the paperwork and met all the people who will keep it in good shape for me....they made the day and experience a really good one!
