Jeff….YES we made a mistake and as I said that day we would honor the deal and make it right…Day one of the deal we had no motorcycle to trade (the deposit was left then) we held the truck as promised and we worked as hard as we said we would…we never once told a lie and we never lacked are fallow thought…are pitfall here was internal communication…Its Me more than anyone that made the mistake here and for that we are sorry… At the end of the day this deal needs to be seen for what it is, a very complex deal with many variables we also have a lot of emotion evolved on the buyers side…the bike was a hard hurdle to over come as the buyer Jeff has little want to trade it…we cant change people nor do we want to…but we can only work with what we have to work with…the Buyer Jeff was very much back and forth to 3 members of are sales team and at one point voiced clearly he was thought with the deal at that point the word was passed along to inventory control where they fallowed protocol and as Jeff stated earlier 60 day rule this Acadia was listed on wholesale Market where is sold in 20 minutes for the same price Jeff was paying retail…This all was mentioned to jeff both verbally and literally via email and text…Again Myself and all members of the Gates Team are sorry this didn’t work out but at the end of the day we can rest to the fact that we did everything above board as that is the Gates MO…again we extend are offer to match the deal regarding 2 conditions A) the bike has the same wholesale value and B) that this bitter understanding could be resolved and we could stand on the same ground with common courtesy…thank you Denny Gates
