An exceptional buying experience. I went to Gastonia Chrysler on 3-11-16 to buy A Ram Promaster City Wagon. It appeared they had a model I would be interested in. So, I did my homework I went to Gastonia Chrysler on 3-11-16 to buy A Ram Promaster City Wagon. It appeared they had a model I would be interested in. So, I did my homework on the front row staff. Mr. Gerald Morrison was the sales person I was going to work with. Why? Gerald simply had a lot of outstanding reviews that I felt comfortable with. So, Gerald was the man. After introductions we settled down and got busy with locating the vehicle, driving it and then starting the price negotiations. Gerald knew his vehicles very well. The drive went well and our opening discussions about price were par for the course. He has very polite, friendly, courteous, helpful and funny. He's a family man so he cares about everybody. A good man. Mr. Brian Simmons soon came over to the desk and we began to talk about price and, fair enough, my intended use of the van. I countered with another offer and Brian countered and I agreed to his offer on one condition, I get Promaster floor mats inserted into the deal. Brian and I shook on the deal and Gerald sat back down and we started the formalities. It wasn't difficult. Gerald made it as easy as possible and so did Brian. These gentlemen made me glad I came to Gastonia Chrysler Dodge. Great hands Brian! After returning in the evening with my wife, Gerald met us and finalized a couple of things and then we met Mr. Brett Holder. Brett is the fellow who says sign here and sign there and then takes our money. He made it as painless and seamless as possible and we sure appreciated that after a long day. He did a great job. He wants a Hellcat. Ought to get a good discount. He'll need it to pay all those speeding tickets. I was very pleased with my experience at Gastonia Chrysler Dodge. The Showroom staff were very polite, courteous and helpful. Gerald was fantastic, as everyone had said he was in their reviews. The main thing for potential customers to do is "the homework". I had been to several Ram dealers and drove and checked out the vehicle I was interested in but the thing that helped me get what I think was a great deal on a new 2016 vehicle was the "homework". Pricing, vehicle reviews and comparisons, dealers and so on. The internet is an invaluable tool at the buyers disposal now so use it effectively and thoroughly. The entire experience was fun for me. It was a social experience and that was fun. Met a lot of wonderful folks, but I could only buy one vehicle. So sorry everybody else. Don't worry about price haggling or negotiating, if your prepared, you'll be fine, man or woman. Make it fun and be happy with the deal. Gerald, Brian and Brett, thanks for a great buying experience. Jordan was patient and went back and forth several times to locate the vehicle I wanted, in the color I wanted with certain packages. He worked with Brett in finance to get me in the price range I wanted, and it was a done deal. Also, after the vehicle was delivered, Jordan worked with Sirius for close to an hour helping get the account set up and running, then going over all the gadgets on the vehicle with me so I would know how to get the most out of all the features. Cant say enough good things about Jordan and Brett both, really good to work with. I still talk to them every time I go back in for a wash, which are free for life! More
