My experience with McKenney was by far and away the most positive and pleasant experience from the moment I spoke to Jamie (Buckner) on the phone. I submitted an inquiry about a used vehicle and rather than get bombarded by e-mails, I received a call from Jamie to learn more about my needs. Within an hour, I had a price quote that met my expectations without a bunch of back and forth posturing. They set a fair, reasonable price and offered to save me a two hour drive by bringing the car to me. I've never had a dealer do that and it was without my even asking. They then offered to meet me at a mechanic so that we could do a thorough evaluation knowing that if we found anything I would send them back with the car. Kurtis (Vause) met me and we chatted for the 90 minutes while the mechanics did their thing...he was pleasant, professional, and well-informed. When all checked out, Kurtis then offered to follow me back to my house so that I wouldn't have to return to the mechanic's location to retrieve my other car. We got a great car, at a great price, delivered by a great team that I will have no hesitation recommending to anyone else (even those here in Greensboro) looking for a new or used car. Very reasonable and upfront in discussions/negotiations - very genuine people with no sales tactics or pressure. Bill Starke was my sales consultant and extremely helpful. Took time to explain the process to me, answered my many questions, and even came in on his day off (New Years Day) when the car arrived to get it setup and ready for me! Managers Matt and Pete were also very helpful and courteous. Barry the business manager prepared all the paperwork and discussed it in detail.
