GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! I have purchased two vehicles through Ford of Ocala, with a sales rep there by the name of Matthew Barrie. The guy knows his stuff inside and out. He's humble, ready to go the extra mile, and always has a pleasant disposition. (And I am not an easy person to get along with when it comes to 'out the door' numbers *grin*). I never felt any overbearing pressure from him to buy, and he was always willing to answer my questions and work to find us the exact vehicle that we wanted, at a very competitive price. On our last purchase I was trying to decide between the three engine options on the Ford fusion. I came up on Saturday and we drove all three different versions... going over the various color options and performance. He stayed late with us, with the full knowledge that we were not buying that day, only going through the options. Over the weekend I did a ton of research and had 3 offers from various dealers down here in Orlando, which beat Ford of Ocala's price. But something always draws me back to Matt. I gave him the 'out the door' I needed to be at and the team got as close as they could to it (and even closer in the end as well.) Even though I paid slightly more for the vehicle by going with Ford of Ocala, I am very happy with my purchase, knowing that if anything is wrong Matt will take care of it, and make sure that I am treated right. (Where other 'high volume' dealers might treat you like a number) I've NEVER had this good of an experience from a car dealer before. I urge you, that if you are looking for a great car, give Matt a call and you will not be disappointed. I HIGHLY recommend Matthew Barrie and the team at Ford of Ocala. More
Worst customer Service ever! My husband and I went to this dealership to look at a new F-250, we wanted to upgrade to a heavier truck. Our other truck was in excellent condition. Rich there, downed our truck acting like it was the worst xxx out there on the road. We didn't have to trade! The salesman Matt was very nice but, I felt really bad for him when he was working with the finance guy named Rich. Then we had the opportunity to talk with him (Rich). Man, I have never in my life felt so small when he was talking to us. He really treated us like a piece of crap and like he had a grudge against the world. When talking money we had rebates and other discounts x-plan. Come to find out he didn't want to give us all the incentives that came with the truck. He told us we was getting enough through the x-plan. ( Well screw us over!) He wasn't even willing to work with us on pricing. It was his way or the highway.... Well guess what, we took the highway... You lost a good customer. This would of been the 3rd brand new Ford we bought. We ended up at another Ford dealership that actually cares about their customers that walk in the door!!!!! Oh yeah btw That truck ended up at another dealership and you guessed it. We bought it. So they lost a customer then and a future one also. I did call the salesman back and found out that he no longer works there, I don't blame him one bit for quitting. Like I said I felt really bad for him. Rich likes to degrade the salesmen and customers that walk in those doors. Bottom dollar he just a plain xxx. Wanted to let you know that this truck after all and said was around $70,000. More
I bought two cars from Ford Lincoln of Ocala Over the last six months, I had to replace two of my vehicles. First I needed to replace my old Chevy and then I needed to replace my Nissan. People were friendly, I was not harassed in any way and I truly enjoyed the experience. This is the first time I have ever written a review on a car dealership but they deserve it. I highly recommend Ford Lincoln of Ocala. More
It was time for routine service. They did not do what I asked them to do. I requested Ford recommended sever duty 15/40 oil and they put in 10/30. They charged me for 5 gal of DEF and did not add any. The asked them to do. I requested Ford recommended sever duty 15/40 oil and they put in 10/30. This dealer is really bad and I can not trust their service. I have an extended service contract and I notice they charge Ford for things they did not perform. More
tells someone what they want to hear over the phone than when you drive to their dealership, completely disagrees with the price and tells you there is no way they can do that. Doesn't communicate with others at the dealership on the workup he quoted. Their Belleview store is a dump. Old trailer not even kept clean with no cars to sell. Tells everyone they will be building a new site soon. More
I only dealt with this dealership via phone, but I am very unimpressed. I was trying to get something arranged for my husband who is in Afghanistan and saw a car online that he wanted. We live 3 states away and they were one of the only dealerships within 500 miles to have this particular car for this mileage at such a low price. Despite the distance, we were willing to travel to get this car. They were very reluctant about assisting my husband and me with our unique situation and needs as buyers. The sales manager contacted me to let me know to fill out a credit application, which I did, and I have no doubt it was approved because we have no debt except for our home. I have yet to hear anything back from them and every time I called today it seemed as if they were avoiding me (he's away from his desk, he's in a meeting, etc.). Instead, my husband and I found a better deal on a near identical car for less mileage AND less money in Sarasota. We have put a deposit on the car so they will hold the car for us until we can get down there next month. It's not that hard to please your customers, Ocala, especially customers who are away from their family, serving their country. More
Went to look at a Fusion, told me on the phone what they had, when I arrived it has magically been sold, but they had other far more expensive models. When I went with the salesman to his office and asked for the price, he said he had to go speak with his "manager". Fifteen minutes later, I left, bought a Chevy Malibu. Easy transaction, gave me the price right away, no pressure, found me exactly what I wanted. Ill never get a Ford again. More
