I never received a recall, but heard after the fact, that there has been many problems with them on the Explorers. I'm not happy with Ford Motor Co, but I'm very pleased that Crossroads Ford put in an emergency order for the steering gear box. I only had my rental for a few days, so I was ecstatic when they called Monday and said it was fixed. Ford Motor Co. needs to stop using low quality parts or they will be losing a lot of business. Good Service I was completely satisfied with the service I received at Crossroads on our 2010 Ford Ranger Pick-up Truck. Our service engine light came on over the I was completely satisfied with the service I received at Crossroads on our 2010 Ford Ranger Pick-up Truck. Our service engine light came on over the weekend and we took it in on Monday morning and they immediately checked it and found that both catalytic converters had gone out. The bad news was it was $2,400.00, the good news they were still under warranty. They had some trouble getting the parts in and had our truck for a week.
