They were very busy, but Drew Colon in the service dept arranged for a ride to a restaurant where we had breakfast. They picked us right up when we called. The car was in need of a new battery which was under warranty. Getting us in and fixed up right away without any appointment was really great. We were pretty much SOL without the special treatment afforded us by Drew. Thanks so much, it meant a lot! More
Tried to pull slick one on me! I went to buy a truck today and they didn't think I'd catch their slick overcharge of $2550 in the final paper work. I initially negotiated the dealer price on the truck down, not including rebates. (It was very clear that I was negotiating the dealer price with no respect to rebates) After sitting in the finance room, they were rushing to get the truck detailed and didn't think I'd catch what they did. They marked the dealer price up $2,550 (same as rebates) from what I initially had it negotiated down to. When I asked about it, they tried to show me that the price was with the rebates included (same price as the rebates) and thought I wouldn't realize what they did. I walked out. Be careful when you go here, because they'll work the numbers and you may not catch it if you don't know exactly what you should be paying. More

Mr DurM added in a "dealer fee" of $549.90 never said a word. My "guess" is he hoped I would not read the paperword and just sign... Deal went south due to Mr Durm's dishonestey. That was the first part of December 2017. I have both cash and fianancing in hand before I went car shopping and the dealership knew this. I have just receved my 6th letter from banks filed for credit after this deal went south telling me that I have over applied for credit !!!!! My law suite will be filed in the morning for fraud. My lawsuite will name Gary Smith Ford, Gary Smith, and Joe Durm. More
Don't get your vehicles serviced here I brought my new vehicle (still under warranty) to be serviced after it threw a check engine light and exhibited symptoms 3 different times. We ready the code ourselves so we would know what to expect. Of course when I brought it in they "couldn't replicate the issue" even though they saw the code logged in the computer and told me to pick it up. I called the Ford Customer Relations Center and they said they would open a case and have the dealership contact the technical support hotline to try to troubleshoot the issue further. The service manager said that was fine and they kept my vehicle. When we called to see if they had done anything with it, he said "no, we aren't going to call the hotline because there's no issue to troubleshoot." So of course now I can't bring it to a different dealership to be serviced because the code has been cleared. So now I just have to wait for it to happen again and hope I don't breakdown on my way to work. The people at Gary Smith Ford can't be bothered with customer satisfaction. Warranty work doesn't make much money so I'm guessing that's why they wouldn't do anything further with it. This isn't the first time I have had issues with this dealership's service department so I should have known better (I thought it might be okay since it was warranty work this time... I was wrong). A couple years ago I had an older vehicle belonging to a family member serviced here once just to have the O2 sensor replaced because it was throwing a code. When they were servicing it, the mechanic shorted out the ECM. I know this because the service advisor told me straight to my face, but when my family member came to get it, they charged him for a new ECM. When I told the manager what the service advisor told me, he said he didn't know what I was talking about. Terrible service. Terrible people. Liars and thieves. Nothing has changed. I will never step foot in that place ever again. Not to mention all the cars they have for sale are way overpriced and when they run your credit, you end up with six different credit inquiries in one day. Now I drive two hours to buy vehicles from Tallahassee now because I can get them for thousands of dollars less and much less hassle. I do most of the deal over the phone/email and then go in to sign paperwork and I'm done within an hour. Don't ever go to Gary Smith Ford... unless you want to get screwed over. More

Mustang Purchase We found the car we wanted on the Gary Smith web site and called and talked to a salesman and he verified that the car was available. We went the next day and he had the car ready for inspection and driving. We drove the car and liked it very much. It had all the equipment we wanted. My wife was also interested in a convertible and he had one to show her also. We drove this and she loved it more than the original car. When we asked about putting a pin strip on the car, they said he could have that done within the hour. We completed the paperwork with Joe Drum in finance and took delivery of the vehicle and the pinstripe was indeed on the car. We were met with friendly and courteous people in the dealer ship and our salesman Fred Kratt went out of his way to make the purchase a stress free event. We would highly recommend this dealership. More
