I still can't believe it. The entire team was very friendly and professional. I've been to several dealerships in my life, they nice people I can't complain. I am a 56 year old women who has had most every new car known to man. From a Corvette, Camaro, Firebird, Kia (and many more throughout). As such, I have had to deal with as many car dealers and bad deals known to man. From a Corvette, Camaro, Firebird, Kia (and many more throughout). As such, I have had to deal with as many car dealers and bad deals than one can imagine. To the point where I decided that I didn't want to own a car. After a few years, my husabnd and brother decided the taxi service was over; which leads me to Gary Rome Kia in Enfield CT. Before going to Gary, I had gone to all of the local dealers in the Hartford area and relived the old days. My husband said that there was a Kia dealer in Enfield and we were taking a ride up. I reluctantly went into the dealership where I was greeted by wonderful people, not hungry sales agents. I was immediately put on the defensive, given my history. Moving along, I bought another Kia Sportgage - only this was a 2006. That day, Gary Rome came over to thank us for spending our money with his team. That was nice, odd but nice. Anyway, we brought the car home ony to find out 4 months later that it didn't have any heat. Back in my mind, I said I knew it, and called the dealer. Much to my surprise I was greeted with apologies and a strong committment to fix the problem. As it turned out, not only did they fix the problem, but at no cost to me (although the warrantee was up). In a nutshell I love my Kia and it runs like a charm. I often wonder why more people don't own Kia's. They come with most every option standard (my 1st Kia was the best), the price is reasonable and it drives wonderfully well, however, I learned an incredible lesson this time. It's all about the dealer and Gary Rome is the dealer. There is a lot to be said for friendly, kind and fair business men and women. I bought my used car in May 2010. Within the first week, I was having problems with a severe water leak inside the car, as well as other problems. I have brought my car down 4x for the same problem, amongst I was having problems with a severe water leak inside the car, as well as other problems. I have brought my car down 4x for the same problem, amongst others (faulty windshield, heat resistor, brake light getting stuck and draining my battery, door latch broken). The patched the heat resistor when it was within my 30 day warranty, but did not last long and now they expect me to pay $150 to have it fixed, when it should have been fixed properly and replaced the first time. They also patched this water problem (at first saying they found nothing wrong, despite my puddle in the front floor)...finally, after a year, they took it completely apart, per my insistance, and found that the hose was draining outside of the car, but rather inside! Furthermore, when I brought the car this last time (last week), my ignition was working fine. When I got the car back 5 days later, the key won't come out and I have to manually put my finger under the steering column and press a latch to release my key. They told me I'm responsible for this (even though I have the extended warranty) and it's $375. The key was FINE when I brought it there 5 days prior. They acknowledged that, and said "we don't know what happened". I am very unhappy with the quality of service from Gary Rome KIA. The sales dept is very nice, but the service dept and mechanics are poor and don't have good mechanical skills. Dave is very friendly and has understood my frustration; however, that doesn't negate the fact that I've had VERY poor service on my car. More

We had to trade in our car with issues. Mark was extremely friendly and very knowledgable about the Kia model and what differences we would see between our New car and old one. Every time I called extremely friendly and very knowledgable about the Kia model and what differences we would see between our New car and old one. Every time I called with a question about the purchase he was right on the phone or called back within minutes of me leaving a message. He made me feel he was more concerned about me being comfortable with my choice than about making the sale. He was the first Car salesperson to ever make me feel this way. Their showroom is very open and very inviting. I like the fact that after signing the paperwork he took the time to show me around and introduce me to the service department and to Beverly who makes your appointments. It was a great pleasure doing business with them. More
