I have been going here for 4 hrs. Took my truck in today for full service, change oil,filter and fuel filter and tire rotation. They did not rotate tires. For oil,filter and fuel filter. I have been a professional mechanic for 50 years but anyone can see that the wheels were not taken off. That makes me wonder if they changed the oil filters. They didn't wash the vehicle like the add says. I do not recommend this business any more. And you must take all your personal things out they went through mine. It's is very sad, can't trust people to do there job like they should. More
Failure to communicate best describes the initial concerns. Following that, I receive email response in bold and many times the size ever used historically highlighted for no reason other than to de concerns. Following that, I receive email response in bold and many times the size ever used historically highlighted for no reason other than to demonstrate disrespectful sarcasm and not even answering the previous question. When I as a customer provide clear documented evidence contradicting JD's excuses, he slings disrespectful insults, accuses me of false actions, and expresses that if we are going to verify pricing with other dealers then Garrett won't honor their commitments any more and we are to obtain our service at the local dealers that verified Garrett was charging above MSRP on their parts. JD told me my previous VMs to his father would not be responded to and that we are not welcome at Garrett. You always learn more about someone in how they deal with challenges more so than when everything is fluffy going well. JD has no interest in learning/listening to where they failed or how to improve. He is reactive, prefers to make excuses, and is very protective of his profits; but insulting of me for being protective of my dollars. He offered to call in the other rude employee (quietly sitting on another side of wall) and fire him in front of me without fully listening and understanding all that took place. Very one-sided. This is our first experience with JD and our previous quality experiences were with 2 service representatives that have departed Garrett Motors. We regret the confrontational approach demonstrated towards us and predict there will be a distorted response that will follow this review. That is fine. We know what happened and for those that read this and absorb it, we will be the better for it. Best wishes for growth JD. We forgive you as we make mistakes as well. "Welcome to the Garrett Chevrolet Family" the email declared. Spoiler: I did not feel welcome. The setup: I live in Maricopa, I'm paying cash, I notice a car lot in Coolidge that has a car I'd like declared. Spoiler: I did not feel welcome. The setup: I live in Maricopa, I'm paying cash, I notice a car lot in Coolidge that has a car I'd like to purchase. I contact the dealership, where Micaela begins to answer my emails. M: Yes, it's available, here's what we charge, with fees out the door. I Me: Sounds great, I would like to do a test drive between 4:30 and 5:00. Is the car ready to go? M: Yes, the car is ready to go. I will see you then. Spoiler: The car was not ready to go, nor did she see me then. It's an hour drive each way, but I'm careful to email Micaela at the car dealership to let her know I will be there at 5pm. I show up at 5pm at the Coolidge Arizona car sales office...no Micaela. She's gone for the day - and nope, they weren't aware of any appointment. Flag #1 Sierra takes over, and locates the keys - she's new, so we have to find the car. She hands me the keys, and...nothing. The car has zero charge. Thankfully the car is unlocked. Flag #2 This is where I notice the Chrysler car that I was assured was ready to drive off the car lot has not been detailed. Maybe we have a different opinion of "ready" so I press on. Flag #3 Back to the office, they inform me that the car started fine on Friday, where they start up all the cars. This will just a) take a jump, or b) we have another battery. Flag #4 It only requires a jump, and amazingly, I'm still on board. Frustration does start to creep into my voice, but I'm still pretty restrained. We get in to where the car is waiting, and notice the car's navigation display has condensation between the lens and the screen. Flag #5 Now, I think I've been more than patient with this company, and heard nothing but a chorus of "I'm sorry" Not for the drive of an hour, not that the car wasn't ready, not that this is unusual - Just plain old "we don't care" types of sorry you'd expect from a call center representative that's at the end of their day. I'm not saying don't buy new or used automobiles from Garrett Chevrolet in Coolidge AZ. What I am saying, if this is how they treat people who have an appointment, how do they treat people who just happen to find their new and used car lot? Potential buyer beware, and I only hope you found this review before something similar happens to you. More
