I purchased a 2018 BMW 330e from Garlyn Shelton Cadillac, on or around 08 March 2022. Since purchasing this vehicle, I have not yet received my permanent license plates or registration. My original Dealer on or around 08 March 2022. Since purchasing this vehicle, I have not yet received my permanent license plates or registration. My original Dealer Temporary Tags expired in May. Since the Dealer Tags expired, I have had to get two additional sets of Temporary Tags from the DMV. These Temporary Tags are $30 a piece, and are only good for 30 days. Although Garlyn Shelton has promised to reimburse me for the Temporary Tags, it has not yet happened. In addition to having to not being reimbursed for these Temporary Tags, I have used valuable work vacation hours waiting in DMV lines. Worst of all, the last time I had to go, the DMV was so packed that my daughters had to sit on the floor. Now I am being contacted by my bank, saying that since they do not have my Title with them listed as the lien holder, that my loan APR is in jeopardy. To say this experience has been inconvenient, is an understatement. I have contacted Garlyn Shelton Cadillac dozens of times over the course of the past few months. They have informed me that they do not have the Title to the car I purchased, and therefore cannot get the permanent plates nor Registration. None of this information was provided to me when I originally purchased the car. All I have been given is excuses, and empty promises. My time, money, and patience has been tested throughout this entire process. Texas State has Lemon Laws, in my opinion this is an administrative Lemon. More

It’s been a month since my temp tags expired. Countless attempts on my part to try to resolve it. Lie after lie…it’s in the mail…we have overnighted it…we will email you a temp tag….ALL lies. Try asking to speak to a manager…none seem to be available. Thankfully there has been nothing wrong with the truck because I am sure they would drop the ball based on our experience of simply getting our plates to us…which we paid them to do. Military families, if you want some really crappy service, head to Garland Shelton GMC in Temple Texas. Ask for Steve, our sales person, because that’s where the failure to follow through on anything he said began. That what I call lying. More
