I took my Nissan sentra in for a tire rotation. In the back bay when the car was out of sight, the mechanic unbolted my license plates. He attatched two license plate frames that said "Gardena Nissan" wi back bay when the car was out of sight, the mechanic unbolted my license plates. He attatched two license plate frames that said "Gardena Nissan" without my permission. I was advertising their bussiness as I was driving around. I complained to the manager and he told me to shut up repeatedly. This probably happens often. I urge potential car buyers to shop elswhere and never buy a car at Gardena Nissan. Lets shut that bussiness down for good. More
Advisors - Zero knowledge about cars. They will say what the known error database says. They cant even convey the issue to the mechanic. I wished they had any process so that we can directly discuss with th the known error database says. They cant even convey the issue to the mechanic. I wished they had any process so that we can directly discuss with the mechanic. Advisors are just a middle man and making everything complicated. If you have some noise you will never ever make the advisor explain what it is. Mechanics - Probably they have best in class but whoever servered my car was not knowledgeable enough. 3 months back they changed my engine mount and now another mechanic from the same dealership told me i have another engine mount broken. 3 weeks back i did the 27 point inspection and everything was reported perfect. They way they treat people i feel the technicians are not skilled enough. My tire was totally worn out but these mechanics dint even mention that in my 27 point report. 3 months back the rear brake life was 60 % and now I have 70%. Is not that amazing ? :) well thats what the report says..i never changed my rear brake pads.. More
I dropped the car off because engine shut off when stopping and got a rental car. Advisor said he will call me by 7 but didn't so I called next morning and they still didnt find out the problem and a stopping and got a rental car. Advisor said he will call me by 7 but didn't so I called next morning and they still didnt find out the problem and asked about my previous problems with the car. Told I took it in right after I purchased the car and said it might be a lemon. He called back later said brake fuse was missing and accused me of doing something to the car. He was sarcastic and said did the fuse disintegrate by itself? told him I did not touch the car and he said he will put that in the statement. He said they had replaced the fuse and that fixed the car, so pick it up. I dropped my rental car off, picked up the paperwork and waited for them to bring the car. I saw a guy backing the car out, but the engine shut off again. He then calls over 2 mechanics and the service advisor because obviously the car was not fixed. Advisor drove the car to the service directors office, opened the hood and called me over. He said the car is acting strange. I asked him why he called me if the car is not fixed. He then started being nasty and said since the word “lemon” was mentioned hours earlier he can’t fix the car anymore and I have to take it to corporate. Advisor said since I drove the car in I better drive it out and just walked off. I had no choice but to drive my car out stopping many time on the way back in the middle of the road. What can I do in a situation like this? This is the worst service I have ever received. They just wasted 2 days of my life and just left me hanging. More
I went in for an oil change on my 2007 maxima sep.11 2010 and the service writer Gary Emery tried to tell me all my fluids were bad and needed to be changed. I had just got all the fluids serviced at south b and the service writer Gary Emery tried to tell me all my fluids were bad and needed to be changed. I had just got all the fluids serviced at south bay nissan 3 months prior. He then tried to say my timing chain was noisy but again I had that done 9 months ago at cerritos nissan. The service manager came out of his office and was yelling at all his service writers in front of the customers. Very unprofessional! If that's how the service is at gardena, I won't be taking my car there. I guess that 18.88 oil change means you get what you pay for. Very bad service!!! More
