I like the convenient location and selection of cars. Joseline, the finance manager was great, and it was she who walked me out to the car. It's a good thing I'm pretty technical, because I received no instruction from the dealership on operating my first EV. There were a lot of residual plastic sheeting in the interior that I had to use forceps to remove, there were minor black marks around the car that I was able to remove after the second wash, and when I checked the pressure, the tires were 6 psi underinflated. I also signed the lease papers with 36 miles on the odometer, but I must have misunderstood because they drove the car from Costa Mesa and the odometer was 66 miles when I picked up the car. I figured out how to operate and charge the car myself. I was waiting for my salesman to contact me, which he did, 11 days after I picked up the car. Kenji also didn't respond to my question if the NACS adapter was available from the parts department, and I informed him that Nissan was getting access to Tesla Superchargers in December. I scheduled the second delivery meeting at the dealership, and it was outstanding. Sam, the contracted person (not a Nissan employee) was friendly and able to answer all the questions I had accumulated during my first month of ownership. I commend Nissan for this program. Kenji notified me on January 2 that I had access to the Nissan app, but I informed him that I had already been using it for the 2 weeks, having figured it out myself. I'm rather disappointed by the customer experience from this dealership, and expected more from a brand that has dropped to less than 6% market share. I decided to put my trust in Nissan after reading all the positive comments about the ARIYA on-line, and they were right, I love the car! I recommend that you join a Facebook group to read comments about the vehicle you want, and to learn tips and how to operate the vehicle from the owners in the groups, because I didn't get any of that from this dealership. I had a similar experience with a Toyota dealer earlier last year, so I guess this isn't unusual. I just wish I had a better customer service experience, so I wouldn't have had to learn everything on my own and feel better about recommending this dealership to anyone looking for a car. Is this expecting too much? I'm hoping for a better experience when I need to bring in my car for a service. More
