When I initially arrived at Gardena Honda, I was optimistic and was certain that I would be doing business with a local dealership. Tyler, one of the salesmen, felt transparent and honest and defini optimistic and was certain that I would be doing business with a local dealership. Tyler, one of the salesmen, felt transparent and honest and definitely gives you a feeling like he’s fighting for the best deal for you. However, once negotiations began, attitudes shifted towards the worst amongst one financial representative in particular: Bryan Banquels. On one occasion he referred to me as “greedy”, overall felt pushy, and in my personal opinion has terrible customer service and people skills when he’s met with resistance. If you don’t get the chance to bargain with this employee consider yourself lucky. Besides that, when I inquired about receiving a copy of a purchase order or invoice, I was told that I could not receive it until I filled out a credit application, signed multiple documents, and ultimately put down a $1,000 “refundable” security deposit. I’ve been to a few other dealerships in the area and had no issue with receiving a personal copy of or taking photos of copies of purchase orders/invoices. Overall, I felt like no one was on the same page nor being completely honest with me. The only way you’ll leave feeling good about yourself is by just walking away from this dealership. More
