From the day I got this car it has been nothing but an inconvenience! Within 1 week, I had to bring it in as the tires were faulty and the car almost flipped over. The bigger problem: the air conditioning. I have had to fix my AC FOUR TIMES!!! WITHIN first few years I had to replace my condenser TWICE! A third time for some wiring issue! Now, out of nowhere, my compressor needs a replacement during the hottest season of the year. I have a heart problem and will faint if I drive the car. After explaining this to Brianna and Rohit at Garden State Honda Service, they ordered me to pay the full fee of $1300. Then was told that was a mistake and it’s actually $1600. Then was told they would ask Honda to cover the fix after telling them I would file a complaint for their horrible attitude and customer service. They ignored me for another 48 hours until calling me back to say repair is actually over $2000 and I ‘ONLY’ have to pay $800. Is this a JOKE? I Will have paid thousands of dollars in a few years just to fix my AC. With my breathing problems and this extreme heat, my car is not even drivable. I can’t believe this. Not only were they misleading, they were also rude and disrespectful. They did not care about my history with honda nor that I have had to fix my AC many times. This is the worst service and experience I have ever received. I bought Honda for convenience and peace of mind, and this car been nothing but an inconvenience and headache. More

Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant experience due to the unprofessionalism of Service Advisor Veronica N. Garcia. GSH should not have her representing their company. However, I heard a screeching noise. I called on Monday, 8/2/21, at 8:30 am to set up an appointment. I left a message for Veronica and never received a callback. I called back a few more times throughout the day, and finally, I asked the person who answered if I could make an appointment. I arrived 15 mins early to my 11:30 appointment on Thursday, 8/5/21. I explained to Veronica what I was experiencing she asked who worked me the last time I was there. I advised her that she was the one who assisted me. She stated she didn't remember me. At 11:26 am, I receive a text displayed "if I had any questions to reply to, and Veronica would be glad to assist me." I replied at 12:34 and asked, "how much longer would it be?" I received no response. At 1:09 pm, I sent a follow-up text asking, "how much longer would it be?" Again, I received no response. At 1:47 pm, Veronica came to the waiting room and said she received my text, but she was busy and that they were cleaning my brakes and there was a rock stuck between the pad. I said ok and continued to wait. Around 2:00 pm, I was told by Veronica that my vehicle was ready and that she went on a test drive with the technician, and they no longer heard the noise. I leave; as I'm driving, I now hear the same noise not only when I brake but as I'm accelerating. I return and ask to speak to a manager. Veronica walks away and then returns and says all managers are in a meeting. I then ask for the manager's card. She gives me the card of Paul Zellman. She then states that they will reinspect my vehicle. I said to her; you told me you went on the ride with the technician, and neither of you no longer heard the noise, yet as soon as I drive off, I hear the same screeching. She walks away, and I'm on the phone; she then approaches me stated they would have to bleed my brake line. I said to her that this was unacceptable. I was already there for 2.5 hours. Why wasn't it done then? She proceeds to tell me she has been there since 7:30 am. I told her her start time was none of my concern as that is her job. However, I was there as a paying customer for 2.5hours and was told my issue was resolved. Now being told I can't speak to a manager, my brake lines now needed to be flushed when that should've been stated earlier. She then started to stay she wasn't going to be disrespected, and I reminded her that she approached me as I was on the phone and at that point, I would like my vehicle returned to me so that I could leave and that I would follow up with a manager as well as a complaint to Honda's corporate office as I was not about to go back and forth with her and her level of unprofessionalism. She then tells me I can't wait there and my car would be coming from the back. I went back into the waiting room, tried to contact Paul Zellman, and transferred to his voice mail. At 2:42 pm, I sent a text to please return my vehicle to me immediately so that I could leave this establishment. More
I had an appointment here today that I booked 2 weeks in advance so. I can get a loaner they person that booked my appointment confirmed to me that I will get a loaner I took time off work to go drop off my car I was greeted by a person with an attitude which not something I wasn't expecting in Honda service center but the very unprofessional part is that this person said that they have no loaners and get this it's a first come first serve basis with loaners weather you have an appointment and a confirmation in an email or not i showed her the email confirmation from their business showing a loaner included she didn't care asked for a manager also didn't care his response was I have no loaners that's it I took my car back obviously Don't use this dealer for buying or servicing trust me you will regret it the same way i do now More
We purchased a 2011 Honda CRV at Garden State Honda and have been servicing it only at this dealership ever since, fully keeping with the prescribed service schedule. 9 years and 240,000 miles later, the have been servicing it only at this dealership ever since, fully keeping with the prescribed service schedule. 9 years and 240,000 miles later, the car is still going strong, we've never had any major issues, and the engine especially just keeps running as great as ever. Andrew Brown has been our service agent for the past several years, he appreciates our loyalty, and is always very thorough in recommending corrections to things before they cause bigger problems. Whenever anything unexpected comes up, Andrew is always up-front about the risks and alternatives, and is always more than fair especially if there are additional costs involved. We will surely get another Honda here when the time comes, but this one is still running so well, we might not need to replace it for a long time. Thanks Andrew Brown and Garden State Honda, for your professionalism and consistently reliable service! Five stars all-around to everyone! More
