The customer service at the Service Dept is horrible here. Kia notified me I needed a part to address a recall. I called to schedule a service appt. The person at the service desk (Ruben) just schedul here. Kia notified me I needed a part to address a recall. I called to schedule a service appt. The person at the service desk (Ruben) just scheduled the appointment and said nothing else. I arrived for my appointment, stood by my car for 15 min. No one comes out to greet me. No acknowledgement at all. I then go into the office. There are 4 or 5 service dept employees in there. I tell one of them (Ruben again) I’m here for an appointment. He says someone will come out to my car. 10 min later, I’m still standing by my car. No one comes out. I go back in, talk to another guy who somewhat annoyedly asks if he can help me (as if I’d just arrived). He looks up my order, and asks if I brought my charging cable in. Of course I didn’t as no one told me to bring it in. He then says, “we’ll just give it to you and you can install it at home. He then hands me off to the guy next to him, who clearly doesn’t know how to process my order. Eventually the guy brings the part to me and says “Here you go. That’s it.” I’m of course thinking “why didn’t you just mail this part to me? Why did you make me burn 45 min of drive time, 30 min waiting for you to pay attention to me, only to hand me a part I have to install myself?” This was completely ridiculous. I’m never going back. More
Excellent service and quick, considering a few things needed to be worked on. Didn't pressure me to perform certain repairs, but still made sure to explain them to me. The experience with Jeremy at Service was unpleasant since my first visit, he was rude and standoffish but I could deal with that, if it didn’t affect the results I was getting from my car. After the se since my first visit, he was rude and standoffish but I could deal with that, if it didn’t affect the results I was getting from my car. After the second time I dropped my car off for a warranty issue, I received a notice my car was repaired and ready for pick up. Jeremy was gone for the day already, and the issue was in fact not fixed, so I called Jeremy the next day and he said and I quote “I don’t know what else I can for you, we already fixed it, and maybe it’s YOUR phone that doesn’t work”. His arrogance and demeanor are what upset me, not the fact that my car isn’t fixed. I understand that’s no one’s fault. He’s the expert and telling me there’s nothing else that can be done on a car I’ve only had for 6 months and paying nearly $1,000 for is absolutely unacceptable. I spoke with Chris and he was very pleasant and helpful. I hope to keep working with him to solve my issue. More
